A bug I’d like to add, some people already mentioned it: You can’t select a different spawnpoint for your first spawn. As in Battery, You will always start on the West Beach, even if you selected East Beach In warm-up.

Sometimes the engine sound of the tank is still playing even though the tank is damaged (only happened on goldrush as far as I know)

Last night I was playing around with the mortor on battery. I was on the path leading to the command center. My objective was to block the back doors (ie the one that can only be opened by axis or cvt ops and the door opened by blowing the generator) . shoting from E3 w/ setting 160-81 I could get the axis door and see the hit on the command map (G). When I moved a couple of clicks to left to get the gen doors, my hits disappeared compleatly. I did not have an observer checking my shots at the time so I can’t tell you if the mortor even hit.

Not sure whether this one has been mentioned before (and not sure if it is a bug).

Last night on fueldump, I was an engy. Two dynamites planted at west depot defence barriers. I defused one, was killed (and I think my body was lying on the other dynamite). I waited around for a medic (mainly because east barricade was built - when will people learn that it is Not A Good Idea to build this?). Miracle of miracles, a medic arrived (WTF? this ain’t RtCW!) and revived me just as the dynamite blew… and the barricade remained intact.

So… did my invulnerable body block the blast, or was it perhaps simply planted just a wee bit too far away? Was it something to do with the fact that it was the second of two, and the first had been defused? The tension is killing me, must go get a life :smiley:

Engineer XP Stealing…When building a construction e.g. command post the engineer that has been there the longest and was first will lose XP to any engineer who helps to finish it.

Minor water bugs:

Knife creates sparks while underwater.

Grenades and rifle grenades move at same speed. They don’t slow down at all, no one bothered to code that. It’s one of the great things in Unreal.

I mean you are a pointwhore if you think like that! The idea of points is to encourage players to do the right thing. Playing for points defeats the point of the game. :disgust: Pointwhoring is rapidly turning me off ET… RtCW has its flaws, but it has far fewer pointwhores.

The timing for this was AFTER the doors had been opened more or less to protect the command center and selfishly myself. If the generator has not been blown, I offer cake, candy, and beer to the axis, if they will only come outside to get it :drink:

On the radar map as you leave teh allied spawn house & go through main gate where MG is. The fence that u have to jump leading to the first entrance to forward bunker. The fence has a little step over but just before that on the house side there is a post that you can get stuck on & after enough jumping you can break free but you fall to your death even though its only just off the ground. I was able to repeat this.

Not sure if this is the right place for this, but its a bug so here goes.

A couple of days ago, while playing a nice game of ET, a TK-er turned up. This person started killing the second he/she (re-)spawned, everybody on the team tried to kick this person. This kicking turned out to be impossible.

I tested the problem and know why the player couldn’t be kicked. It is reproducable and could turn into a mayor problem if not handled.

Sadly I have no idea where to send the bug-report and will not say more about it on a public forum (maybe said to much already).

I’ve send the report, I just forgot to mention the version number of ET, so here it is.

I’m not sure if this has been mentioned, but if I try to set a maxping of say 150 I will always get a “server is for low pings only” warning (twice) and have to hit reconnect to get onto the server. As it stands beside me I will then have a ping of usually between 2-10 never higher than 15, so why do I always get the error at connect (others gets it too) ?
(A maxping of 500 will work fine, but why can’t I limit it to 150 for example ?)

aabout disapearing dynomyte. It get’s stuck in a wall and starts spinning and makes a really annoying brrrrrrrrrrrrt sound and then disapears. I get this (kinda) with airstrike cans aswell if i throw them on train but they usually still call the airstrike.

you can nade the other player over the wall at fueldump
this is an bug you cant fix :confused: the only thing u can do to prevent it is to guard the fueldump u cant make the wall taller as Airstrikes blow u like 1000 metres up in the sky[/b]

On Oasis, i plant the dynamite when there remained 35 seconds. The last canon was destroyed. But we lost !

On oasis and may be on other maps like Fuel Depot, Battery,… there are few seconds after the main objective is destroyed and the end of the game. So may be this bug can happen on other maps.
