Just another voice to add to this. RTCW, MOH, UT2003, Q3, and many other games are all on the mac. Its a viable platform with many online gamers. They would all appreciate the port, even if they would have to pay something towards its development. I for one am willing to put my money where my mouth is. If you do decide to port it, put up a paypal account and Ill donate straight away. Even if I have to pay some more for the final version. Go on Damage, you know you want to!!!
Mac-version
Oh please come out with a mac version! I know that the mac community will pay for ET if we have to! Aspyr or Omni Group are great canidates for a group to do the conversion. (My choice would be Aspyr however) With all of Mac OS X’s supurb OpenGL support and of course Quartz Extreme, how can you not port this :???: The mac os is a completely different gaming platform than it used to be. Please take what me and the other fellow mac users say in this fourm into serious considerastion if you already haven’t please. :bored:
Yah I would pay for ET for Mac.
Just bring it to the Mac sometime in the near future, please.
I dont think SD has anything to do with mac. That’s entirely up to id/activision. You are complaining to the wrong people folks, go bug activision not SD
whose complaining? and whether SD will make any official decision or not, they do read these forums and I don’t think they have blinders on. Voicing the desire for a mac version in these forums certainly doesn’t hurt anyone.

i dont think it helps either, since i dont think anyone who has the authority to influence a mac release reads these forums
better to spend effort petitioning for a mac release directly to id/activision or aspyr, i think…
Maybe, but how do we contact Aspyr? I can’t find a forum of theirs on their site… but maybe I’m just being thick…
mac et!
mac et!
mac et!
mac et!
mac et!
mac et!
mac et!
mac et!
mac et!
mac et!
mac et!
mac et!
…anyone home?!? :poke:
I’m another Mac user voting for a Mac version of ET.
And yes, I agree that there are most certainly more Mac gamers than there are Linux gamers (considerably more even).
A Mac version is kind of mandatory if you ask me:D

Aspyr Contact:
http://www.aspyr.com/contact.php
maybe just fill it out as if you were requesting support for Wolf and write in the text box that you would like to see RtCW:ET come to the Mac.
Not holding my breath, yet worth a shot.
Hehe - I had the same idea and already filled out the form at Aspyr’s website. It has been a quite long description. I also gave them the direct link to this forum thread. My “problem number” is 5500 – hope that’s a good one…
Stay tuned – I’ll post their reply here when I got it.
Hehe! Good. Maybe it will work. Contact Aspyr, everybody!!!
And I already got a response!
Blablabla. :banghead:
They need to be contacted more often to get an insight…
I would love to play Enemy Teritory on my mac!
I also echo the the others here: I would pay $15-25 dollars for it!

Original Question
I would like to enquire about the possibility of the Enemy Territory “expansion” being made
available to the macintosh community.
I would also like to point out that i am certainly not a lone voicein this:
