Ducking not important in ET? Wow here we have the explanation, you have no idea how bullet spread is affected by crouching? Maybe this is the reason why you see aim bots all over?

(2) You are paranoid, you call normal panzer activity cheating. You aren’t an experienced gamer. If you were you wouldn’t have sucked so much in that demo.

Thats because they were using panzers (perfect accuarcy even if jumping through the air), or the enemy was ganging up on the lone moron. When you have 2+ people attacking a noob who is off by himself you don’t need to do much to improve your chances.

Ok maybe I was wrong about you saying you had demos. I thought I read that somewhere, must’ve been mistaken. Edit: Ahh I see. You offered to send someone a demo of an RTCW cheater, not ET. My mistake.

But next time you see one of these auto-aimers that you see so frequently, please record a demo for us to see.

heh, try crouching and aiming in both games, maybe you’ll see how people are “autoaiming” at range. The bullet spread of smg’s is much, much reduced when you crouch, and ANY decent player will crouch when shooting at range. demo’s for your amusement, though i guess theyre all autoaimers aswell hey.

Go away and learn how to play wolf games properly, you epitomise the word “noob”.

It IS instantaneous in this game. Its a helluva lot faster than your version in the demo of diving onto your stomach and missing shit.

Have you ever had someone snipe you across the map with 3-5 mp-40 shots on fueldump?

If your playing with skilled players, of course, and i have no doubt that you also called them cheaters. But guess what?? They crouched (or went prone) and single shot your head right off your shoulders. I’ve done it, and Im sure alot, if not all of the people on this forums have done it also. It takes skill. Skill you dont have, nor ever will.

Now, get your ASS off this forum before you are humiliated further.

eVe is a decent CAL open clan (in RTCW, CAL doesn’t do ET yet, but the skills carry over). There are two tiers of competition above them, Main and Invite. If you thought their aim was good, you should be aware that there are at least a couple dozen teams which would consistantly mop the floor with them.

Err… Ironman, you really, REALLY need to play RtCW/ET more. Seriously. Crouching is one of the most used, and most benefitial things in the whole game. Your spread is redused to its smallest point while crouching, and you are a smaller target (may not be correct, given the FUBAR hitboxes). Now, maybe the reason you don’t see it often, is because it’s more useful in mid to long range situations. If you run into a bunker, and crouch while opening fire, you’ll catch a large number of bullets in your frontal lobe. If you’re playing fueldump, and shooting the allies at the bridge, you’ll land 90% more of your shots if crouched. It keeps your spread the same way as being prone. Again, I’ve made a demo to show you my point:

Now, notice how firing while standing gradually causes your spread to go all to hell. This isn’t as big of a problem in close range, since your spread still covers a large portion of the enemy. But, while crouched, it stays just as tight as shooting while prone. Now, at long range, having that tight of a firing spread will land a LOT more bullets. If you try to fire long range while standing up, and even move while shooting, you will be lucky to land even 1. The event where you didn’t land any shots that duke’ku keeps referring to, well, if you were crouched, you could have taken them both with half your clip.

Most players don’t crouch much. The demo I posted shows not 1 single player crouching on a busy server with an entire clan on the other team in a 10 minute demo. As I said, it can be useful, but that’s all. So you “really REALLY” need to get past the imature bashing attitude and post something worth reading here yawning… because you are doing nothing else.

I dont have a demo to back it up, but, while I was playing with a friend in a public game (i was at his house) he decided he was bored with ET (why? I’ll never know) and watched him download a hack for ET that included autoaim. I unfortunatly cannot give the location (and probably shouldn’t) but I do know that PB didn’t catch him at it. I havent seen any players out there that made me think that they were using auto-aim though.

There is no question that aimbots and wallhacks for ET exist. Some of them are even undetected, although the ones that get wide spread don’t last long. If you do happen to get one, or find the download, the best thing to do is to email it to research@evenbalance.com

What is in dispute here is the idea that ironman can detect them. So far he is 0 in 1. I look forward to the next installment.

Well, if you decide not to see the obvious advantage of it, than that’s your own fault. You’ll never improve at the game if you don’t adopt new strategies. It’s no wonder why you think so many people are cheating.

Oh yes, and you seem to think that hardly anyone crouches while firing. I suggest you watch clan matches. You’ll quickly see otherwise.
