If you claim you are catching sooo many cheaters with demos, it would be most intelligent to send said demos to evenbalance, so they can help create a cheat-free community that both you ( I R O N M A N), and the rest of the ET community can be rid of one less threat. It is in YOUR best interest, I R O N M A N, to send every demo you find of a suspected cheater into evenbalance for analysis.

Since when did I say that I had any demos whatsoever of cheaters? I never once told you (BlackDeath) or anyone else, that I had as many as 1 demo of any cheater. What I did tell you (BlackDeath) and others, is that I see a cheater every so many servers I join. You (BlackDeath) should read more carefully. You (BlackDeath) are making claims on my behalf. Please do not do that.

The demo clearly shows autoim, perhaps wall hack too. Can you not see the guy’s weapon following the enemy almosy perfectly? Do you ever see the gun go up or down even slightly? No, because it is constantly aimed at the guy’s head. Kendle, now I am starting to think that you are beyond help. The demo is not even mine, but it is a perfect example of autoaim. As I have said, I have better things to do that run around spectating for demos to educate you. Anyway…

I’ve seen people who can aim as well as that without assistance. The most obvious aspect of that demo is the wall-hack. Knowing how good some people are at aiming I’m less convinced he had auto-aim enabled, though it probably stands to reason that he did.

OK, if you said “Every 3rd or 4th server” (can’t be arsed to find the original post) I’ll conceed that point. I thought you’d said “1 or 2 cheats on every 3 or 4 servers”, which to me meant 1 out of 2. So you actually meant 1 out of 3. Big deal! You still claim to see far, far, far more cheaters than anyone else ever has, which was the essence of the original argument.

Seeing as you made that claim a few weeks ago, I’m astonished it’s taken you this long to provide a demo. I’d have expected several demos, of several different players by now. That’s assuming this is one. I’ll reserve judgment till I’ve seen it.

It’s not a priority for me to spectate people to make demos. It is a bigger priority for me to play and have fun. Besides, why bother spending my time to make demos to convince you of what you already know? You seem to have 2 personalities: one for bashing at anyone you don’t like for some reason, and another for trying to make yourself look good.

I said aimbots exist. I said I haven’t see one. Please explain the hypocrisy? Just because I haven’t seen one doesn’t mean they don’t exist, anymore than the fact that they do exist means I must have seen one. Those 2 statements are perfectly compatible. I could perhaps have phrased the 2nd better. The reason I don’t see them is because they’re not there to be seen on the servers I’ve played on. Is that better? Obviously I can’t see them on servers I don’t play on, but that much is implied in the sentence I used, as well as being common sense. Both my statements are valid, and in no way make me a hypocrite. In future understand the meaning of words before you use them.

I can’t help you if you never see an autoaimer. I don’t know how to train you so that you can recognize it. Perhaps it’s just experience at FPS gaming that makes the difference, I don’t know. But just because YOU don’t see it (yet you know it exists ???) don’t go blathering off at someone else because THEY DO see it from time to time.

People have better things to do than to spend their time making demos to educate YOU on what autoaim looks like while actually playing and not when spectating. It’s not that hard to tell when someone is autoaiming if you are spectating them, much harder to tell if you are playing against them. Perhaps the ability to see it when playing and not spectating comes from experience. Perhaps intelligence, perhaps common sence. But whatever the difference is, why don’t you spend YOUR time hoping servers and spectating everyone to find and demo these punks. Do it on YOUR time for YOURself. I would say that it is YOU that is a figure of ridicule for your fat-mouth bashing and hypocricy.

It’s no great mystery Kendle. Surely you don’t think I am the only one who sees a cheater every few servers I play on. Perhaps it would be best if you just said “I can’t seem to tell when I encounter a cheater.” Just because you don’t doesn’t mean others are not seeing them. When you look at an onion growing what you see is the tops, but you can’t see the rest of the onion in the ground. For every cheater someone sees, there are a dozen or 2 more playing on other servers at that very moment. At any one time there seem to be many hundreds of people playing Wolf ET any night of the week. And yes, I do see one of them every few servers I join. I am sure others do as well.

Well, what you are saying is more sarcasm than fact. In that demo, I ranked high, held several titles at the end of the map, and almost single-handedly backed the enemy up at thier spwan slowing the number of them that made it to the fight to a fraction of what it was for quite a while. But then I would expect you to say such about me. Any lie you can muster to further your cause eh? I played on 2 servers tonight, on one of them I ranked #5, on the other I ranked #1. Both had over 28 players.

I did say that. I was wrong and I admitted it. In all my hours of playing RTCW and Wolf ET, I have used the Panzer maybe twice. The weapon just doesn’t interest me much. This has little to do with the discussion that cheaters exist on one of so many servers.

Do you think such punks do it for fun? No, they do it by switching teams and blocking the other team’s door. If you don’t think that is cheating, then you are beyond help.

The question is not how prevalant cheaters are in Quake, Doom, CS, etc., but whether there are “1 or 2 cheaters on every 3rd or 4th (ET) server”.

Yes there is cheats out there and i’m sure alot of people could furnish you with links to cheat sites where these hacks reside. Infact i’ve found alot of these sites and reported them to punkbuster myself (allthough every time pb has replied they have said they are aware of these sites).

Here’s a tip for you just enjoy the game m8. So you’ve been shot and killed in 3 shots, so you suspect someone might be using an aimbot…SO WHAT!!
Everytime i have come up against a player who has owned me i haven’t thought “omfg cheat0r meights” i’ve been more determined to practice hard and get better at shooting myself.
This is where the enjoyment comes from in first person shooters imo.The never ending quest to improve and better yourself “ingame”
I had someone accuse me of cheating this weekend and at first i took it as a compliment but after an hour of him going on in global chat about me having an aimbot and then a zero damage hack it really started to get to me.
What you must do Ironman is accept there is people out there who are alot beeter than you are. I’ve accepted this fact aswell and allthough i can certainly hold my own i’ve walked around countless corners and been dropped in 3 shots
Yes cheats are out there but the everyday “noob” hacks that people just change a couple of lines of code in are nicely detected by Punkbuster now. So imo there is only a small number of people who have created these hacks now and are keeping them private so pb does not get wind of them.These people imo are few and far between.

Seriously Ironman m8, just chill and play the game to have fun.Afterall this is what it’s all about
