When i see somebody getting kicked for WALLHACK or something they just reconnect after 2 minutes over and over, why doesnt PunkBuster just perm ban them from the server?

admin can check sv_cheat log and set the ban pernament. admin can also set sv_kicklen to adjust the duration of the kick, but imo this should be left at 2 as this is the duration for all auto-pb kicks - including cvar violations.

Well I dunno if it’s still goin on but for awhile some people had problems being kicked for a supposed wallhack but it turned out to be a problem with PunkBuster instead…

I think 2 minutes is fine. I wouldn’t want PB making decisions on the time limits for different violations.
I know I sometimes get kicked because I mistype something, like /cg_fov 0. I accidently type that and get kicked

I got accused of wallhacking last night when I was an axis soldier camping the north gun on Oasis with a mobile MG. He said “Nice wallhacking, Chris” and I just said “stfu”. He remained quiet the remainder of the round.
It must be due to my quick aiming reflexes

Theres a bug when spectating a prone mg player that makes it look like you can see & shoot through walls.

This one came up as “Video Card Hack” and turned out to be PB’s problem. Not sure about “Wallhack” being a legit kick or not.

Personally Kendle I’d let him in once and then whenever his mystical powers kicked in, ban his IP. But he’d probably have mystically anticipated that and used his approaching “universal genius” IQ rating and pixie powers to do something strange and unnatural to your thought processes, like give you an unnatural craving for cottage cheese (which as we all know is the cheese with links closest to voodoo).
