Both have pros and cons, Twitch you’re locked to one view which sucks, but on TV servers you won’t always see what the casters talking about.

Imo, TV server + shoutcast on a TS3 is perfect, it doesn’t require a lot of things and we’ve been doing like this for the last 3 competitions on ETQW.

To be honest I don’t really care as long as we got something. First of all we need servers linked with TV servers, TS shouldn’t be the problem.

Ability to spec any player at game-time is worth it alone.

ETQW casts last 2-3 years leave a lot to be desired.
+1 for TV server. A viewer can always replay the match “if recorded” and follow the caster.

I’ll talk to the TAW server admin to see if we can get the GG Tournament servers back up. Just e-mail me the proper server configs and I’ll forward that along to him if he agrees that TAW can host some of the servers.
