Unfortunatelly the ad. Servers wont have a TV Server. Also its a problem to contact the Admin. Maybe ask him in IRC´(Zauberpony @ #awesome-dudes, just in case you forgot it :wink: )

I want the cup to be double elimination, so that ever team has 2 chances before they are out of the cup. But how should we sort the teams? Should we play NA vs NA and EU vs EU first, or weaker vs weaker teams or completely random?

Mhh not sure. I would say, Double Elimination and completley random brackets.

The brackets should be done in a way, so that good teams stay in the uper bracket while the teams that seem to be lower, can fight in the bottom bracket. If you let a “good” team drop to the lower bracket, it will be just boring, and they will wipe all the teams without any chance.

But how will you “balance” it? Rex Team is the strongest, they will win the cup. Then we have rub team, they will take second place. 3rd place will be for the NA Mix team. And the other teams I have no clue about.

Yeah, the outcome is quite predictable, unless some oldschool teams sign up. There was a good chance of that happening a few weeks ago but with all the waiting etc. its unlikely now. :frowning:

Well, plenty of time they could have showed there interest. Waiting didnt helps but I doubt that quicker start attracted some extra teams.

TAW is available to host NA/EU servers for the tournament. They will be going live soon!

I will see if we can use the TAW TS Server for the tourny. No guarantees though, I will ask tonight.

Mmmk, the old GG Tournament servers are back up again, now named TAW|Artists of the Battlefield|NA Hamster Upcoming Tournament and TAW|Artists of the Battlefield|EU Abundance Upcoming Tournament. There’s a small Punkbuster issue I’m trying to get resolved, so they’re not 100% ready yet, but it looks like we’re on track to have those available!
