Would I be welcome on *your* server?

Bored of playing nubs on pubs - too many ppl changes, ppl not using teamplay tactics etc, etc - are there any pub clan servers that would be ok about a high pinger (but experienced player) playing?

I’m not shit and I compensate for my lag quite well, just don’t expect too much from me in close 1v1 firefights.

So far, I think I’ve seen Fusen on a pub but no-one else - I’d quite like to see you all play tbh - I’m not a clanner, but on RtCW was good enough to be welcome on quite a few clan servers for practise scrims and such - I’d like to do the same with ET.

We don’t tolerate idiots trying to spoil other people’s fun and we don’t tolerate mouthy gits trying to tell other people how they should play, but other than that we’re cool and you’d be more than welcome.

get pathfinder and do a search for the guys nicks on the forum, oh and a lot of people { in this forum } can be found in the splashdamage server

i was gonna say the BiO clan server, the top UK players usually congregate there, noobs get kicked and its almost always packed

I actually remember you from RTCW when I played under different alias/es to my current one.

You would certainly be welcome on our clan’s server cos we never get any buggers on it!
2X clanserver is in need of some livening up!

Otherwise if you want fun games with nice ppl go to the splashdamage server…i feel that that server def. has the nicest atmosphere with alot of really nice ppl on there. Just shame no etpro (hint hint).

If you want to test urself (which I’m guessing you are not so much bothered with if u have a high ping) go for the BiO clan server as others have said.

You’ll often find me on either. If you want to look me up…

everyone is nice, but if ur a noob and ur playing there ur not going to learn anything, ur just gonna help the other team get up there light weapons, noobs tend to leave realy quick anyway :smiley:

being honest ive played on the server about twenty times and ive found it to be very firendly if a little over competitive. No noobs have ever been kicked whilst ive been on there hence my state of shock that you would say that. I find when i first join the server that i get my arse kicked from here till sunday for the first couple of maps then once i adjust to the pace it’s quite alright so if you are a noob and you join stick in there. It takes a bit of getting used to as its more frantic then most servers and some of the players seem god like at first but they drop as quickly as everyone else once you get the hang of it. :clap:

well it says on the MOTD that its a noob free zone, noobs dont get kicked by the admins, but the players usually vote them off or they tend to leave fast like it said. besides ur hardly ever find a noob there cause its always full of good players :clap:

Wow - thanks guys :slight_smile: Looks like I’ve got a selection of servers to try - one’s for when I’m at home on the naffy V90, the other for when I’ve got access to BB :slight_smile:

I’ve been on SD’s server a few times and had a great time - always very busy and the standard if generally very good - almost too good for a 56k twit like myself. I was actually on last night, crappy ping ‘juddering’ away, getting my arse kicked from one end of the map to the other - had to leave after 20 mins 'cause it was doing my head in - I’ll be back though mwhahahaha.

SwordOfDamocles - was that your tag on Wolf or is the 2X a hint? I remember a SwordOfDamocles from FireFly’s Fluiere Fluege (never could spell it) - was that you? Anyways, Hola!

another server to join the ***** list = =BBC= server the teams were ****e gettin spawn killed on fueldump I told admin to shuffle he said why do I want any of them on my team =X so called him names and was kciked =D glad really cos otherwise would have wasted even more time doing jack shnitzels

Yeah, I hate it when people do not agree to shuffle Teams. I mean, what’s the point of playing if the teams are woefully uneven?

Shuffling - Sure, when shuffling is needed it’s a pain not to have it but all too often people want ridiculous levels of shuffling. Having the teams constantly rebalanced after every map is not the key to a fun experience. I have often played campaigns on SD where my team has thrashed the other team on one map and then on the subsequent map the complete reverse has happened with little or no player changes.

Evilsock - Play more on SD for we are sexy beasts on there. :smiley: What name do you play as, and why must people confuse me by having different forum and game names? :slight_smile:

BiO server - Never played there myself (and it sounds like I’m not good enough to bother) but any server that operates a strong anti-new person attitude isn’t worth it. Bullying newbies won’t make up for anyone’s physical shortfalls, if you get my meaning. :wink:
