Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory was released a staggering nine years ago and we thought we’d celebrate in style by giving away a signed copy of the Return to Castle Wolfenstein Platinum Edition. What makes this copy of the game extra special (and extremely rare!) is that it was autographed by the original members of the Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory team here at Splash Damage, shortly after the game’s original release.

So, how can you win it? Just post your favourite moment from a Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory multiplayer match in the comments of this post before 23:59 British time on Tuesday (5 June). We’ll randomly pick the winner from all of the qualifying entries on Wednesday and put together a special blog containing the best submissions, as well.

If you’ve never played the game, it’s never too early to start - the Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory is a free download and available for Windows, OSX, and Linux.

Doesn’t strictly have to be an in-game memory, so any great Wolfenstein: ET-related moments are ok. :slight_smile:

Well, the first thing what comes to my mind is the Goldrush match.

I was on Allied team and we had like 1 minute and half to go, so we rushed at the end, we were lucky enough to arty these axis bastards!

I picked up the gold and so did my team-mate, it was pretty deja-vu moment, since axis spawned then, we got killed, but the gold crates flied into truck, yes :lol:

At end it was very hard, since they attacked well…

But we finished the map, tough at 04 second and very very hardly :<

I had the honnor of organizing an ET tournament back in my GM days. We played finals in giant screens and the (general) public attending the area came for the yeling and stayed for the fun. One father of three asked me if it was a movie :rolleyes:, and after I explained, he kept telling me that Axis would always loose because it’s history. :mad:

The best moment was playing as a medic and reviving all my comrades with the shot and killed and enemy at the same time!

My brother and I used to play occasional matches. I would always choose a 1911 and a Thompson and demolish him over and over. He would use the big light machine guns and it was always hilarious to destroy the “big-guy” with a pistol. :slight_smile:

Oh no, can our forum really handle all the forum activity that came from all the permanently active users after the last draw?

Anyway, my top moment was scoring four consecutive multi kills of four, five, three and five kills per panzerfaust shot on Goldrush. I’m never sure if those moments occur because you can suddenly anticipate everyone in a moment of clarity or that your enemies becomes more and more predictable as you start to dominate them.

Well, i’m working offshore and i still remember a period of bad weather while we have to standby with our vessel in the field … everyone was bored to death. Most guys onboard were british and i was the only german :o so i thought it would be fun to have some gaming action and ET was the only game i could share this moment. So we started to have a small LAN onboard & played for hours … it was such funwar on the screen and i still remember the loud shoutings :eek::D:D
We had so much fun theses days that whenever we meet online now we try get that moment back but online it’s not the same as having your “enemy” right next to you and watching his rage :smiley:

of course i had alot of memories , many years i play this game and still continue playing without getting board of it… and i had a special moment in this game with map called goldrush which i earned alot of Spree kill and my team was on my shoulder and i was doing all the job and of course we won there and i was the most killing award with 72 kills :slight_smile:

Some of my favorite moments happened in the “base_race” map of E.T.
Just the idea of building a base and watching it grow, setting up priorities as to what to upgrade first and so forth. It was an amazing map that made an already amazing game even better. I’m still waiting for a true sequel to this amazing game :slight_smile: Best FPS ever.

If you play ET, many times a week, you just cant desribe only one moment, there are many awesome moments in my mind, running with the gold in goldrush, defending the Fuel Dump. maybe I wont win the game, but Spash Damage Team I hope you see this, Thanks for the game that gave me awesome moments, sorry if I have grammatical errors or something like that.

My best moment was a game against a very good german team. Allt the 6 players came through a small door and everybody stand in a line. Almost every shot was a headshot with this bing bing bing sound from et pro. Killed all 6 enemies. We lost the match but this one moment was awesome :slight_smile:

The most amazing moment, building the ramp as an engineer on battery when there were multiple mortar attacks & nade throws happening all at once :smiley:

I was playing with Mark and William and I pwned the whole opposing team with the power of ES Energy drink, before either of my friends even left the spawn area.

My best moment was when i was playing clanbase eurocup qualifier for the first time versus one of the favorite team overload including the best player of the game mAus and on the map aldernest i took the objective in middle of 3 guys shooting i got propelled on the window with 10hp jumped down and ran with with 4 guys chassing me my heart was nearly gonna explode but i managed to transmit that **** into radio

RTCW+W:ET actually stole 8 years of my life :smiley:

Jumping from above on the head of an allied soldier carrying gold right in front of the destination which killed him instantly only a couple of seconds before the end of the map (NoQuarter).

My favourite moment: In my total 40 mins playtime of the game, i got a 4 kill with the pistol. Good times
