Escape the Ark! Coz this is the thing i would love to do once in my life
Win a Signed Brink Mural to Celebrate Brink's Birthday
I chose to Escape the Ark. In any society, there always must be a group of individuals to fight it, and that is what makes a society whole. I loved Brink, and besides getting four characters to level 21, I also got every achievement in four days. I’m an avid collector of game items, and Brink has been on my top shelf ever since I played it. The mural is beautiful, and I would keep it mint and cherished forever. As a true fan, please pick me!
My first play through was with the goal of escaping the Ark. I did this for three reasons:
- being from Wisconsin, at the time my state was filled with (justified) discontent with our Governor, Scott Walker, so I seemed to relate to the guerillas
- I liked the outfit options better
- my roommate said he was going to play as the security force, and I couldn’t pass up that easy of a setup to argue
When prompted with the decision of which ideology to choose. I sided with Saving the Ark, because the Ark is my home, and the idea of outsiders coming to where my family lives and potentially causing havoc and harming them made my decision easy. I feel for the Guests and their plight, but if they worked with us, we all could make the Ark a better place.
With 5 other mates, we all united in Saving The Ark…then later we escaped XD Before launch, we all told each other what side we had aligned ourselves with. 4 sided with Security and 2 standing formly for the Resistance. With some light persuasion, briding them with junk food, they finally argeed to do the Save The Ark playthrough first =]
I chose to save the Ark, since I’m more of a ‘keep the peace’ kind of guy than a ‘overthrow tyranny’ guy.
I did destroy the Ark because i thought everyone on the ark should have the same rights
Happy Birthday Brink!
I guess im gonna play it now xD
:stroggbanana:
Save the Ark. But don’t open it otherwise melty melty.
To be honest I had no real preference as I expected to play multiplayer on either side. Picking sides would have been better if there was an actual single player linear story based campaign from both perspectives which were predominantly different in play.
Anyway, would love some SD memorabilia.
I picked “Escape the Ark” because I didn’t think that it could be saved with the amount of chaos going on.
I chose escape the ark because I liked the idea of a rebellion more than enforcement more. Why play games if you can’t do what you can’t do in real life?
I chose to escape the Ark, 'cause I always side with the rebels, be they the good or the bad guys. I just love me some chaotic ragtag and bobtail more than a flock of uniformed sheep.
I chose to escape the Ark because those that try to be heroes get killed. Why did I not think it was worth risking my life to save the Ark you ask? Because the Ark is like a stray cat, cool to look at for a little while but then it starts to smell.
Save the Ark
Liked the security look over the resistance, a nice uniform will always win over potato sacks on heads
… and I would totally buy some Brink prints if you ever got around to doing some.
I chose to save the ark
Why? Because in a world spiralling into chaos with riots, recessions and people striving for more its good to know theirs at least one world you can save and have a whole lot of fun in then process!!
Russ
Brink faithful and proud
I chose to save the ark after I got it at launch day.
I prefer to keep control and I had noticed in the intro, The task force was trying to maintain order and were merciful enough to allow other people to come into the ark. The stragglers rebelled even though they themselves were the cause of it. So I went to save the ark!
When I unlocked all the audio files I learned that my choice was well thought out but then I notice that the Security’s higher ups were a bit corrupt themselves. Both sides could have found a common ground but both leading characters were so busy with their own vendetta that now both of them have become blinded from their paths.
I regret trading this game in but if I ever get enough people to play it with me on the 360, I would buy it again in a heartbeat!
