I chose to Save the Ark! Why? Because I’m CheezitKid. It’s like being Batman…but with more guns and killing and stuff. And you guys owe me a psycho code, I preordered it from amazon and they didn’t give me one -.-

I chose to flee the ark, although after I completed the game I thought I made the wrong decision, when hearing the story of the security force I realised that I might have made a bad decision. The security people where trying to help the resistance, but they could only see them as a hindrance in them living a better life. Although after hearing that there was cannibals out there I thought to myself, “this means there is a second one right?”, after playing threw brink trying to find the best class for each mission, I just wanted more.

I saw several reviews of brink that I thought where harsh, and never actually saw the true meaning to the game, that there is no evil on ones perception of what evil is. And every time I replayed each side’s campaign I found myself believing they were right, you told an amazing story that changed my perspective on what is evil and what is good. I was disappointed in the fact that there was no collectable or figurine of some sort, I bought the special hard book edition and really wanted more. Your DLC provided me with some satisfaction showing that in desperate measures people take desperate needs, but I still needed/need more.

I’m an aspiring level designer unfortunately I still need to finish school and go to uni, but I would love to try and get an apprenticeship and splash damage. Your game has opened a new type of gaming where both sides are shown and you get to decided who is at fault, this combined with your creative routes in your maps for deferent class was amazing. I would go as far as saying you might have made one of the greatest games in the 21st century.

P.S. the reason it’s not the best game ever is mainly because I love the old games like Galaga and Action Fighter.

Keep up the good work.

Yours sincerely Mitchell moody

It would be great if I got the mural, if not thanks for the great game anyway.

It has been a year already and I still can’t buy the BRINK: Agents of Change in the Steam from Russia. The message kind of “Product is not available in your area”

Why?

Because i always wanted the be a “bad” guy wiht a good attitude.

I decided to Save the Ark!
The Ark represents the last real hope for humanity, and is better off without outsiders raiding it for their own ends.
Everyone has food, water, shelter. And if you help out, you get even more benefits too! Is life really so bad on the Ark?

We can’t afford to lose everything that we have, to put so many lives at risk, just so a bunch of selfish ingrates can get their own way!

Fight for Security! - Fight for the Ark! - Fight for Life!

(But then I escaped the Ark right after! Brink is such a refreshing change to typical FPS, with its style, gameplay and environments. I just couldn’t get enough  I’d love to have such an awesome piece of artwork gracing my wall!)

Hi

i choosed Save the Ark because characters clothes looks more awesome !!

have a nice day team

I chose to escape the Ark; oppression holds no value to me, and I wanted to see what was left of the world. Maybe it wasn’t as bad as the government wanted us to think. Maybe it was, but it was worth the risk.

Save the Ark. The Ark seemed so beautifully designed and I really liked the concept of being security/the police - trying to save a place, preserve the peace against the uprising masses.

I loved/love this game. Every time I’ve played it it’s sucked me in, in a ‘just one more go’ manner. It’s made me see 4am too often!

Thanks for the game guys, I hope I win

Escape the Ark because the clothes were more awesome

Had to save the ark. Couldn’t get behind the idea of playing the ‘bad guys’ role first. It was interesting to see the truth of why they really needed to save the ark from the resistance!

First time i played it was to save the arc, but if i could go back in time i would obliterate it, as i still havent received my prize money from Brinks 15k tournament that ended last august!

After seeing how either side worked psychologically, and testing a few missions as either side… I went with Saving the Ark. The Security was trying to do good even with means most find unsavory. Their opposition employed amazing Guerrilla tactics, but Security felt more of a hearty choice for me when dealing with the Ark’s imminent dilemma. They seem like real oppressor’s when they are working for the Founder’s, who for sure don’t want the Ark’s location handed out like extra water rations on a hot day.

The Ark is to be self sustaining, and the Security aids that but just not in the most genteel way possible. For me it wasn’t a choice of armor look or gun design when picking what to do with the Ark, it was a moral one. Sure they don’t do ideal things to the inhabitants, but the hard choices make others stronger. By keeping the Ark a secret, even by violent means, it shows integrity. I never agreed the with every action the Security employed, but guerrilla warfare has more ramifications on the populace versus trained men with a semi decent cause.

All in All, you guys made an amazing shooter with a Fallout-esque choice of a side to take. It still stands out as a game that other dev teams should admire, especially the SMART movement system. It may not have Bioshock’s story, or the entire Call of Duty fanbase but it is a gem in a rough endless sea of shooters that get churned out one after another. Plus, the gun customization and character model design was fantastic.

I choose to save the ark. The design of the preservers were more appealing to me than the rebellion.

(Globstopper) #274

I chose to save the Ark. It was so obvious that the problem was all those people they let in. The Ark was generous to the highest it could still be sustained and those pesky people just wanted more and more and got mad when they didnt get everything they wanted. (that they had already been getting for free) But the Resistance does look cooler. :stuck_out_tongue:

(Nosferatu) #275

Thanks SD, here’s wishin’ for a sequel.
I chose ‘Escape the Ark’ the first time I played Brink and stuck with it, because I always chose rebellion as opposed to conformism in life too. The system is flawed, fight for your right (to party)!

(William_Gates) #276

I choose not to get tbagged mission

(MadChicken) #277

I chose to escape the Ark because i fill more connected with my wild/ adventurous side (hormones in a teenager’s bodey  )

(CaptainDesk) #278

I chose to Escape the Ark… mainly because I wanted to wear my pre-order Psycho costume.

Save the Ark
Without Order There is Chaos.
Security was formed to protect the ark from guest unrest and unwelcomed visitors.

I started off as a simple security guard, patrolling the corridors of the city, protecting the citizens from each other. It was the life, good pay, great hours. But slowly things started to change. The sea started to rise, thousands of people started to flood the Ark. Space and supplies became limited and I knew something bad was about to happen. I needed to step up and protect the Ark from the resistance forces. Still to this day I knew I had made the right choice. “Fight to Save the Island”

I chose to save the Ark! Rules are there for a reason, most of the time! However, after playing the other side and trying to escape the Ark, I can understand their side as well. It’s a tough call. But I stand by my first choice. The Ark needs to be saved!
