In all honesty, you owe me an apology, right here in the forums. You owe me this appology because you have repeatedly talked down to me when it was uncalled for. Furthermore, you have banned me twice because I was drawn into an argument with the few truest trolls of these forums - these few adolescent minded persons who have constantly trolled me since I first posted on your forums. Instead of warning or banning these immature ones who have followed me from thread to thread to verbally attack me with indecent comments and name calling simply because they want desperately to convince others that cheating is quite rare, they know that I dislike cheaters and I
have had a few truthful, noteworthy things to say about the subject, and this is something that upsets them greatly, you have taken yourself out on me. I could tell you without doubt what thier behavior says of them… I could tell you precicely what kind of players they are and where they come from because their behavior bespeaks of it ever so clearly, these few trolling thugs. It doesn’t take a genius to get the picture. But that is not what I am here to do.
When I have posted in a thread dedicated to hacks or cheaters something from my personal experience, there they come with all of their indescencies. Instead of posting something in such a thread about cheaters or hackers and their science, they only post in those threads hateful comments directed at me because they know that I am not gullible to their propaganda, and this is something that upsets them greatly. And yet you come down on me because of their behavior and their indescent acts and their starting of arguments and doing all they can to draw me out of discussion and into argument. You have your azz on backwards Wils.
Only after numerous, repeat hateful comments from them and abundant name calling did I ever lose my cool and use similar language directed toward them. Yet you came down on me. Even after I decided that I would not allow these childish, hateful, immature, trolling persons to get me flustered and respond in kind, you still come down on me. I have never trolled your forums - chasing persons only to bash them and used such language toward them, as they have done to me. Yet you come down on me instead of them. I have been pretty darn kind and held my tongue in comparison to the language and nature of the comments directed toward me and others who have posted to the subject of the thread on your forums dedicated to that very subject. Yet you come down on me.
In fact, there are only a few threads that I have posted in, and when I post something on-topic in one of these 3 or 4 threads of the hundreds of threads, here come the trolling, hateful, immature ones to use innapropriate comments, language, and violent antagonism toward me, even if the thread has not been posted in for months. Yet you come down on me.I could understand if I posted all over your forums negative comments toward others that you would have such an attitude. I would understand if I used vulgar language. And I would understand if I called people bad names. But since I have done none of these things (with the exception of losing my cool once, which I corrected so as not to be like them), it is completely innapropriate that you come down
on me. Instead, you should be warning these few trolling hatemongers, thugs of the Internet kind, instead of the one who is the target of their spite. You do your company and the gaming community in general a terrible disservice when you come down on someone who is trolled and bashed with such comments and language in your forums. Instead of telling those who do such things, “Hey, take it easy out you guys. You are being to rough. You can discuss and disagree without talking to someone that way or trolling their every post.”, you come down on the one who is the brunt of their hateful behavior. This sends the wrong message to gamers Wils. Absolutely the wrong message. It is akin to a teacher punishing a child for expressing himself in the classroom dedicated to expressing yourself, when 3 or 4 of his mates are allowed to express themselves hatefully and direct it towrd the one you scold. It is bassackwards Wils. And it is discourteous to me.
Your attitude toward me is inexplicably discourteous, unprofessional, and innapropriate. I have posted on many forums in my time, and have not met with an admin who takes issue with one who posts on-topic and without personally directed hatefullness, and leaves trolling hatemongers unscolded… until I posted in your forums, where I have been trollingly chased down by a few badmouthing thugs bent on destruction.
A friend of mine (a lady who has been my best friend for many years and does not play FPS games but loves to watch me play them) told me recently, “Well, if that’s the kind of people making that game, you don’t need to be buying their games. Forget them. There are other game makers.” But I don’t agree with her. I don’t think that your behavior is a realistic representation of Splash Damage. At least, I certainly hope it’s not.
In all honesty, you do own me an apology Wils. You have shown me much disrespect while leaving people who are not respectable to treat others badly in your forums. And you really should be more responsible in seeing that people like those few I have mentioned are not allowed to do such things as they have without intervention. I hope that you will sincerely think about this and do the right thing. It would speak well of your character.
