I support OPs thoughts. I am also quite a bit worried about the future of this game. When I have time to play some games, I look now at my desktop icons…see fallout 4, battlefront and dirty bomb…I pick DB first
those are triple A games and DB actually does really great in terms of getting me liking their product. The truth is that it needs polishing. Especially the reward system. What is the point in winning the match if I already did my daily 500c. There needs to be more to it. More incentive to do stuff in the game.
I also support the idea of having objective and stopwatch main drivers for this game. Execution should be tertiary game mode which people can occasionally select. Newbies should first get their hands on Objective … also the training mode is about that which already suggests this game is no copy paste CS.
Why is winning not enough of a motivator? Why do you need something else to make you want to play your best and win? Why do people need an incentive to play a game they like?
Call me crazy, but people who play to win are the people I want on my team.
Is this some sort of byproduct of the “everyone gets trophies” generation?
Winning is a huge motivator. And yes, most people play to win because if not, why are they playing right. The thing is, winning itself isnt enough. Players want to progress and get better at the game unlocking new things with customizations and being able to…progress. Is winning enough? That’s cool. I just witnessed a player trading up 6 gold loadouts and thousands of credits to recieve a S$% cobalt. Guess winning is all huh.
