you guys should try sweetfx. U cant really get rid of all the fog with that but its looks so much better…
Why do the colors in Dirty Bomb look washed out?
Dude, I already discern between high quality and low quality graphics. People who care about performance, including the clarity of the game environment won’t play high quality settings.
People who only care about the gameplay shouldn’t be commenting on how the game is supposed to look like on the highest settings.

Just remember how ETQW did it. Really clean sexy graphics that in no way obstructed vision. I like to play on max graphics when my pc can handle it, as long as there’s not a ton of things that intrude on actually playing the game. I think low end settings should only exist for the purpose of getting a higher frame rate.
Is there an ignore button anywhere so I don’t need to read some people’s posts? I guess I can try just not reading them.

I’m really surprised that Rex plays with you
You’re almost there, going by your replies you’re already ignoring half of each post, try a little harder.
(Quick Post Caveat)
To update you all, firstly to say thanks for the feedback, and secondly that level lighting/post processing is currently being revisited across the maps and will start to address the concerns mentioned here

That’s great news, Fluffy. Possible to share exactly what will be happening and what we should expect to see? I am always interested in the process a d getting a sneak peak at the results.
Colors have looked washed out since a patch back in march and the fog and ridiculously bright lights make it worse
seems worse this patch.
although i run on all low/off settings.
i wouldnt have thought that means a general grey feel.

It’s immensely better this patch. Just make sure your not over boosting your gamma. Use 2.2
Is it possible to add a contrast bar option ?
If you want to boost a bit the colors
yeah i was a bit. set on 3, its better on 2.2 but i’ve an urge to make it brighter.
I use sweetFX to add some saturation and contrast to the game. But the game still looks grey because all the yellow stripes will be oversaturated when I add to much of it.
But with the new patch and without the fog we can clearly see the textures have almost no color in them. It makes the game look boring and probably (I think it’s does) cause the overall washed out effect.
