My question of the week is:-

If u could make 1 change (can be as big or small as you want) to enemy territory what would it be and why?

the best change wins a cookie and my hand in marriage :smiley:

You’d want a blood filled, bullet ridden helmet? Well, would be nice to have that shrub option where the Ammo Packs give you a helmet…or something like that…Would be nice to play soccer with fallen helmets though…A c’est la but!

I would put a no damage/no shooting buffer around the spawn points to stop spawn campers.

I hate rifle grenades… but I can’t see removing them… :sigh: I’d fix some of the areas that are clipped that would be fun to access and I’d fix the way the trains and stuff are so I can actually SHOOT people on it, and people while I’m on it… that’s one of the most frustrating things.

umm so what you want to do is take a ww2 gun, and have the bullets pierce the solid steel construction of a train? I’m no historian, but i don’t think they had much in the way of armour piercing bullets in ww2. feel free to correct me anyone if i’m wrong

My change i would like… if you kill someone, but also kill yourself in the process, you should lose xp, not get xp for the kill. this will stop people blasting away with a panzer at point blank range. who would even think about launching a rocket at point blank range.

Hmm… you know that big wide open ā€œdoorā€ on both sides of that train that one actually gets in to ride it? Well there’s clipping problems with the moving ā€œvehiclesā€ in the game where if you’re shooting straight at somebody with an SMG you won’t hit em… you need to aim a little ahead…

I wasn’t talking about shooting THROUGH the armored train… :disgust:

hmm i don’t seem to have a problem with shooting people in the train. maybe turn your graphics down a little? or maybe it’s a ping problem?

btw bullets can pierce the train its not made of armor metal thats not its purpose

I’d give the allies more than just the one chance to play defense. Defense win = huge gains in xp. If the axis manage even two defense wins, the xp disparity can be crippling for the allies on that third map–and it only gets worse on longer campaigns… if the axis manage to get defense wins on four or five maps of a six-map campaign, the axis team’s xp total can be almost three times that of the allies. If the offense/defense were split 50/50 between the six available maps, people wouldn’t bitch so much about how badly /xp_shuffle works.

Well I could probably think of a lot of things, but I’ll just mention these:

-Find a way to balance out the Garand to the K43

-Disarming Satchel Charges should be much quicker

-Increase the ā€œwarm-upā€ time of the Panzerfaust

-Change Level 4 Covert Ops to something more deserving

-Completely change the levelling of the Field Ops to:

  1. Mega Ammo Packs
  2. Packs cost 15% of the bar
  3. Airstrike/Artillery uses 2/3 of bar
  4. Double Airstrike/Artillery

Basically it would mean that the current Level 1 Field Ops would be split over two levels.

Seriously think about it. The Level 1 Field Ops has the biggest advantage over all the other Level 1 classes. Level 1 Field Ops get Mega Ammo packs AND it only takes 15% of the bar to drop a pack (plus the bar charges faster) also add in that they can carry 1 extra grenade. Medic Ammo? More Grenades? More Sniper Ammo? Those don’t even pale in comparison to the Level 1 Field Op. And a Level 1 Light Weapons almost replaces the Medic and Covert Ops Level 1.

or tilt some of the maps a little more in allies favour. making the ramp in battery a dynamite only objective and the fueldump garage command post a spawn point are simple examples. The latter is so obvious that the developers must have tried it and found it made things too difficult for axis- but growing player familiarity with the maps seems to favour the defense so you might get a different result now.
