FWIW, the client ignores pmove_fixed when the server has b_fixedphysics on (although that may only be the case in post-3.1.0); otherwise, pmove_fixed works fine, although turning left/right on MGs (and maybe the mortar, I can’t remember offhand) is very framerate dependant, so you’ll turn very slowly with pmove_fixed cranking up your virtual framerate.

And Sauron, the Santa hat on your sun avatar inspires me. I think I’ll steal it (the idea.) :banana:

nice to see that I landed pretty much exactly where others arrived too with their config… nothing special @ melonF’s (no offense meant) :smiley:
I missed a spawnscript though (or didn’t i look closely enough?)
And I wonder why u dont have your moving on ED instead of WS. I have moving on ED because that way I can operate shift, caps, tab, a, q with the small finger and thus get most weaponbanks and running fast with just 1 finger. (weaponbank 7 is on a mouse-button… yea I m a nasty eng who likes his mines :smiley: )

As for the colors of the crosshair… do u really use them all? I d say white does the trick on almost all maps (only a bit sucky on oasis cuz its a very bright map) but I play with a gamma-toggle of 1.3 and 1.6 for the dark maps, so maybe that is the answer.

And sniping is fuxored, through 3.1.0 (? or was it fixed in 3.1.0)

Oh yeah, sniping’s still broken… I need to look into that some day. :moo:

The problem is that the gun recoil starts before the shot is actually fired. You can still hit people if you aim really low!

we forgot to turn p_move fixed off one day on our server when we checked it out and it turned out that you could not snipe properly anymore or not at all.

but when we once installed and ran etpro 3.1.9 it worked, so it probably is fixed there…
