i don’t care for that EA crap. all i want is to play QW over the summer, so for me a public demo in june would be f*cking awesome in case the game isn’t finished until then :slight_smile:

and i do hope that id doesn’t try to push the quakecon with quake wars. the quakecon is on the other side of the world where only a few peopz have access to, so holding back the demo for quakecon would suck deeply imo especially as the rest of us is left alone with taped low quality videos from the event.

What would be better than having all the crappy summer games come out, gettin your money ready, smugly waitin, buyin your ETQW around November/Dec times and playin it all through those long, dark, cold nights of the Winter!

Either way, QW will kill that other rubbish with a swift slap of a hearty quiche about the face!! :moo:

Well tbh, let me just bring a downer on this occasion!!!

ET released - 2-15fps on Radar, and by the looks o things this QW is fairly heavy on its ol’ foliage thing!

SO! I know I personally won’t be able to play it right (at all) until approximately 2008. And by that time everybody will be far too good at it! But I’ll trundle away and get me kicks, maybe some day getttin a PC together that can play it half well.

Then SD will have another game on the horizon that I won’t be able to play either! But I’ll buy them all, because:
1/ They made ET - the ultimate, perfect precursor to any franchise title that comes after it…
2/ They are sexeh
3/ They are nice
4/ They know wtf they’re doin when it comes to gamin!

To put it another way - Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory will NEVER die in Ireland!!!

imo quakecon depends on whether they have a game or not, and this means quake wars. if there’s no quakecon imo there’s no chance we’ll have QW before september/october.
