I guess this would be nice gesture for community. The loadout system is broken on so many levels though and it looks inevitable it wont see any changes in future that I’ve stopped caring and just go along with it.
We need a way to modernize rare Gen 1 loadouts to Gen 2 without RNGrinding.
Let’s be real; some of the HB loadouts were obsolete at launch. Even in first gen, T92 was a shit card for Skyhammer
Play a week a DB using only the stock cards. You’ll realize that Augments aren’t that huge of deal and you will probably enjoy playing any card more than when you used to only that one card you always used. Personally, all that matters to me is the weapon.
And Double Time. Double Time messes up my core mechanic of pressing Shift to cancel reload, but that’s a whole 'nother matter.

Augments like Drilled, Tough, and Explodydendron are always nice to have. Reloading/recovering faster plays well into the fast pace of DB, and you notice a lot more collateral damage when you have Explody.
Augments like Untrackable and Bomb Squad are extremely useful; if you get used to them, you can’t live without tham. Untrackable makes Proxymines something you don’t have to worry about anymore. Bomb Squad makes SNITCH Devices and HB sensors very very very easy to destroy.
As for Double Time, I value the reload perk much more than not being able to cancel reload by sprinting. The split second you spend switching weapons to cancel reload instead of sprinting will never get you killed, and if you’re in the habit of switching to knife when you sprint (which you really should be) then it doesn’t even make a difference at all.
I don’t have many S.E cards but the ones I do see ass lol, which is a shame considering how cool the C.W. camo looks.
My point wasn’t that the augments are worthless but rather than you get to learn to enjoy a card regardless of the augments on it.
I had a thought: Maybe a reasonable cost for trading up an event card to a gen 2 version would we something like: event loadout + gold version of desired loadout + 20k credits. Getting a gold loadout of the card you want wouldn’t be the easiest thing in the world, but it also definitely isn’t impossible. 
@Equanimity Hell I’d be open for anything at this bloody point. Thank golly I’m not in situation delukz is in, but I still got only 1 usable event card from the overall of about 7 I got (random ones, not counting the HB bundle set cards)
@Equanimity Why should there be an additional catch to it. Getting an event card was already a pain in the ass. and the odds of getting a good one were insane. And now you want to add another RNG layer on top of the 2 RNG layers you had to overcome to get a good event card?
