We need a list of the REAL bugs/exploits in this game

You can’t close the doors when the generator is destroyed. Did you checked this?

(bettY) #102

have you noticed if you put a bannana in a tank tailpipe, the tank keeps going?seems obvious it would stall and shut off.Axle would be pist.splash needs to get there stuff together!

hmm i meant the front entrance to the base, not the back door. the entrance next to the mg42 post, that overlooks the ridge, that looks over the beach. its kind of difficult to explain… ah ha. there are only two ways to get into the axis main base on battery. one from the back, ie cvops blowing the generator. the front way, which is only really do-able once allies take the west bunker. from the west bunker, there are two ways in -the long winding route through the rooms, or the double doors openable only by the switch directly next to the door. and the double doors were open, which meant it was easy for the allies to basically spawn kill. and i couldnt shut them. :disgust:

The generator is responsible for all doors. When the generator is working you can use the switches near the doors to open/close them.

When the generator is destroyed, all doors will open: the big back door, the 2 doors near the gun controls and the door near the front/forward bunker. You can’t close them until the generator is rebuilt. When the generator is rebuilt the big back door will close automatically. For the other 3 doors you must use the switch to close them (and you can’t close them until the generator is rebuilt).

Completely, 100% false. You can definately go in the front before the west bunker is captured. Engineers very often built the ramp and run straight into the battery, without heading to the bunker at all. In fact, it can be easier WITHOUT capturing the west bunker.

That way, the Axis aren’t automatically respawning so close to the objective. They may stay defending the hill, even as you’re running around inside. But taking the bunker basically forces the next axis spawn to protect the interior.

Level 4 Soldiers equiped with Light weapon Only - has absolutely no benefit from heavy weapon abilities. You get a Light Weapon which you already Have

Is it me or does this seem like a penalty for those soldiers that are forced to take Light Weapon due to restricted/Limited Heavy Weapons?

This selection seems to be a redundancy as there is no benefit to choosing it.

(Zakalwe) #107

enemy disguised covert ops do not show up on your radar and command map, so its way too easy to spot them.

(Pamper) #108

Erm, none of the other soldier skills help someone with an SMG either!
Level1=rapid panzer, level2=cool MG, level3=running with heavy. All worthless if you carry a Thompson.

Is it me or does this seem like a penalty for those soldiers that are forced to take Light Weapon due to restricted/Limited Heavy Weapons?

This selection seems to be a redundancy as there is no benefit to choosing it.

Well, you should NEVER be a SOLDIER with a LIGHT WEAPON (smg). That by itself is stupid… The whole EXISTANCE of the SMG Soldier is a redundancy.

If you want to fire an SMG, then be a medic with infinite health, or a field with infinite ammo, or at least an engineer with double grenade capacity. ANY other class with an SMG is better than a soldier with one.

And besides… if a soldier is carrying a LIGHT weapon, how can he earn level 4 HEAVY weapon anyhow?

PS. The only possible reason to be an SMG soldier is on limited heavy weapons, if a teammate has something you need and you think you can follow him and grab it when he dies. But there’s almost no chance of that.

I dont know if this has been posted yet because this thread is kind of a little too long to read thru lol…but i noticed on the fueldump map…when the tank is by the building where the allied command post is…you can hop on the front of the tank…drop a grenade, run backwards and the grenade never blows up. i did it 4 times in a row…then stoppd tryin

(Nail) #110

just wondering, did you check the date on the post above yours, last post was just after the 1.02 patch came out, 18 months ago

(Ragnar_40k) #111

A bug is a bug is a bug. (Repeat that with “exploit”)

Tanks and other movers can eat up anything from nades to packs. This happens quite often.
For the latest 2.60 patch there is a seperate bug thread

Isn’t there more people who thinks that the Seawall Battery level is flawed? For me it seems WAY too easy for Allies to win. It’s probably wrong to call it a bugged level, but still it would need to be patched, at least in my opinion. First, I’ve seen allied players BLOW up the back door with a dynamite? Or was it me who just imagined it? Have anyone else seen the back door being blown up before?

Besides this I think that the Allies should’ve been forced to destroy the generator before they could destroy the gun control. Maybe put out 2 axis team doors so that either, you’d have to blow up the generator or simply go in by Covert Ops as well as a Engineer. I know that would somewhat spoil the point of having the team door by the back door, but you could always end up facing an axis play on your way to the gun control and be killed. And besides, the covert op could as we know blow up the generator alone anyways, thus exploiting the gun control on the 1st floor, adding a purpose for the team door by the back.

Anyways, This way it would no longer be so easy for an allied engineer to just sneak in through the front and blow up the Siegfried gun. without first blowing the generator or have a Covert Op opening the team doors for him.
But besides this problems I still like the map. It’s a frightening long 20 minute fight if you’re an axi though :stuck_out_tongue:

Does any agree with this?

The “Blow the backdoor” is an etpro feature, because… apparently, according to lots lots lots of people, it was too hard for allies :nag:

(Sauron|EFG) #114

It was too hard against an organised defense, and it’s still pretty hard on a 8v8 man server (or bigger) if defense just spawns a couple of people at the command post. :fiesta:

(Salteh) #115

But that’s just because 99% of the time those silly allies can’t make up their minds, send half their people to the back, some to attack the ramp and the rest goes swimming

…or have a picnic on the beach :skull:
