I am no different then other admins who also run server facade for their servers.

Nice goal and very lame. Doesn’t a normal thinking human pay for a server to enjoy it when its full and not just to provide every mod available and give a craps@ss on how full it is. Ahwell, it’s like you said: you are just one of many facade admins.

Anyways, i think it’s up to SD, Bethesda or Zenimax. It’s really hard to believe that they put an exploitable serverlist online and feel fine with it.

And btw Addition has never solved any problems.

edit: Hellreturn, now that was so smart… in one post single post, you achieve to promote again your servers, make advertisement for selling servers, and threaten other admins, that you now start more of that crap…

The masterserver just sends IPs. To my knowledge he never did anything else.

You can convince yourself by using this tool: http://sourceforge.net/projects/wetsi/ Modify even the source to make it print out every single character you get from id masterserver (if you like). It is halfly finished, but does the job. Just use getservers request.

Last times i also could click on ‘No’. My et client serverlist was completely unusable, but at least i could click no. Is this different with other users ? I start my mod with etpro and 2.6b version

You know there are small clans fighting to keep there servers active?
I dont think they care you have 3000 members.
I hope somone takes your servers down or that they get blocked from the masterlist.

Offtopic: would it solve the isuess if somone made a edited client/server/masterserver?
Example: server sends his data, masterserver blocks all servers who use exploids, masterserver send the correct data to the client.

Server sends his name, amount of players etc to the masterserver (every five minutes or so) the masterserver would check the data for “illegal” servers and then save it, when a client requests for the list the masterserver would send the info, not each server on its own.
if a exploid comes out only the masterserver has to be fixed.
Would it work?

all was fine on WF just very few had problems but we helped them

i still dont understand why almost of guys dont use qtracker or hlsw or gametracker to join servers
i keep to use ASE (all seeing eye) to can connect sometimes

Im not sure of the importance of this but some guy last night =DUTCH=Vincent or something like that, Claimed to be in charge of the server list on the main et program. He had said we need to check something on our server name because of the recent hack. I wasn’t sure exactly what he was trying to say, but he said if we do not fix something our server would be removed from the list or something. I don’t know if it’s true or someone just playing jokes. Figured you could read up on it. It was around 8pm to maybe 9:30pm Est. standard. Primerose UFO and numerica were all there. Maybe they made more sense of it. He was writing kinda broken english so it was hard to understand.

No you didn’t got the point… when I said I will start new servers i.e. I mean I will start new servers aka “real server no server facade”. Most of the admins here are jealous that I am running 10 servers example being dutch vincent and couple of busted cheaters on this forums targeting me under different duplicate forum accounts. They wouldn’t say anything to other clans running server facade for their servers but going to whine on F|A cos either they are banned on my servers or are just jealous. I feel this is purely hypocritical BS when couple of admins are not saying anything to other admins who also run server facade for their servers. It’s like hey hellreturn is active here so let’s whine on me cos we got to whine on some body… I am done with those lamers who whine here and never PM me proof.

So what I am going to do is start 4 new servers on 2.6b (Note: No server facade). I have figured the mod’s. One will be US ETpro Public, One Euro Nitmod and silEnT and one Jaymod. I don’t play the game but who ever reports trouble makers, cheaters, etc. will get admin and at the end of the day I might even give that servers for free to any clan who is willing to keep gaming environment on servers enjoyable for other players.
