What on earth happened to this game. I was away for like 1 year, and today wanted to replay the game. There are so many things:

  • server admins installing packs where your main menu gets ****ed
  • server list full of fake servers, some even with 99/64
  • server list full of redirects (fake servers either)
  • no etkey support anymore
  • server trackers spamming servers with more than 10 times connects per minute spamming the console with “…” “…”
  • mapscripts getting modified with spam
  • the people stupid as **** (really ?)
  • the admins beein abusive as hell
  • tracking sites stealing code from other sites, and even though everyone knows, everyone is visiting them
  • mods which are basically etpub, but beeing sold as the next generation big time mod
  • clan sites at tracking sites who all write the same and copying each other beeing one big fake like this ->

Many points to follow. I could straight up puke at ET community. When i remember how good the game once has been, with nice people, where you could chat, and not beeing trolled for asking legimit questions in chat.

I should make a list of servers actually so that you finally wake up how much you **** the game up.

But for Abusive Admin you must perhaps include the Fact Abusive Admin are in Fact your Admin GUID Spoofed by a Hacker / Disturber … That use your Admin’s GUID only in the goal to kick your players and to scare them !

I think you did not get the point. It is not the effort beeing spent, nor has anything to do with the game itself, or money. It is the people who play this game. You can actually play the best game in the world, and there will be a surrounding, which could brake the game. Like defining own rules, beeing generally retarded, dumb. Look at above points, they are proof enough that most of the community is mega retarded. It is not exploit we are talking about, it was real admins, the server was not hacked, no guids were spoofed.

Why would i be wrong. Open up the master list and just look for yourself. There are servers with 99/64 players, there are servers with fake names (like copying the name of one famous clan and pretending it is the real server), there are 80% of redirects, there are servers beeing displayed 5 or even 10 times, with the same name, there are servers pretending to have more players than they do, only to build in a redirect to a less crowded server, most of these servers which are about 30+ players have these packs installed (there is no way for me to know that?), and more more more …

And that is just 1 point i grabbed from above.

The servers i played on were FA servers. And yes that is bitch right now, but i think they do harm and actually should be ashamed of themselves. Bunch of pseudy manship, on a pathetical level. “well i guess we just have to get used to it” Yeah play the hard man, i saw that forum post, and i almost cried (it was about that new spam bot from trackbase, spamming the console). So now it is “who can take more of this crap” is a real man ? It must be real challenge to destroy the game as much as you can, play it retardly all the time, to then call himself A REAL MAN OLOLOLOLOL

I use to play on my clan server, and few other ones, included an ETPro server, and only the ETPro one has a package which modify the menu (It puts a “Favourites” **** on the left of my server browser; I don’t use ingame browser so I don’t care).

Really, browse from SplatterLadder or TrackBase, they filter fake/multi-names servers :slight_smile:

For you hack is never done by some possible Person of by some persons that can come from some clans ? You dream there is always a reason to hack : to disturb.
Hacking and Distubing as Cheating are war weap (like fake servers too and full servers full of bots in the goal to attract players and to redirect): the goal of all that is in the search to destroy and disturb other servers. What will result of that ? less and less WET Server (or more and more WET server that are not reliable).

Compare the number of Counter Strike servers online and the Number of WET Servers : CS have really more servers !

All that create the risk that a Skilled Masterfloor feed-up by all of that could decide one day to attack all servers in the goal of a revenge… ? Science Fiction ? Yeah perhaps… but everything is possible.

And there are some WET security breach I cannot speak about but that are exploited every days.

Target Servers are only servers that are interesting : the other one have no problems.

For all what you speak about There is no solution because there are “no more support from the creators” concerning this nice WET game. And no Global search of solution from all WET Masterfloors.
When I mean “support” it is in the Goal to Clean and to Secure more the Game. Now that they have been very kind to let it Open Source : we must thanks them a lot ! :slight_smile: Thank you men ! Cool & Kind ! :slight_smile:
But it mean “we need to pick oneself up by one’s bootsstraps” : We all need to work together for a good future for WET. Some of the things you speak about can be done by the Management of the List of Servers by Master Server : but nobody have access on it. And it do not exist a “balanced WET Council of Mastefloors” that can decide of some important Master decisions.

There are no miracle solution… and too Peace & Love between all Admin/Masterfloor seem impossible.
Because this is regrettably a part of the human nature being and of the generalized egoism that is constantly developed through the world. Is the world working well ?
Like have Said Voltaire ‘everything is for the best in the best of all possible worlds’

And to finish about that, we are in a world where : “Quest for Money and Free Games” are incompatibles at all levels.

On WET, I can guarantee that there are harmful persons that try to appear as good persons only in the goal to infiltrate to Create Big problems.

The reality that will never change : After-all each one his own problems in an Selfish World… Isn’it ?
Sure there are some exceptions… but they are so rare ! Rare but effective it is why WET exist up to this day because of the Hard Work of many rare persons. We must never forget that ! And too : 1 person can destroy the work of many : it is really scary.

I have already think about a Game Menu that can Manage the Menu of the Most Important Clans (and by extension perhaps all menus) but it seem to be certainly an utopian idea…

I think you need to just find the right server. Our clan has been around for almost 8 years now and have things to help players play with etkey generators because etkey doesn’t reproduce when you first install the game now.

No troll talk, everything i said is something i would put my hand into a fire. “If admins dosent like you” ? See here is the problem, i can already smell at you that you have a huge ego, thinking in your “hierarchical order”, as well as your admin friends. The experiences i made were not a fault of anything I did (i never got kicked baned etc, i only watched others), it was just that there are people in this game with huge ego problems, and that they will get themselves a random person and symbolically want to humiliate them. It is mostly that they had a bad day, and when they join a game, where others are having fun, and they NOT, they automatically feel offended (and again, not me having been kicked/baned etc, i was only the watcher, and since i simply know, and have way too much empathy, i get affected by such experiences, others not).

Also another example is, when they are not in “their” mood, or feel again that this is “their home” and they can do whatever they want (i heard these speeches, yeah, yeah; i mean it sounds hardcore now, i know it is only a game, right ?, but there is this principle which is so dissapointing, especially the nature of these people; it shows when they do not have to take responsibilites or if there would not be a law, they would simply do harm to others, not even understanding that what they do, is causing backfire, and would end up in nothing but chaos and murder in real life (i am glad that the law is holding back these people in reallife actually, or god, or whatever)), they end up picking on someone, start talking to him in a superior and provocative way (believe me, it is not hard to pick on someone and kick him immediately after he responded), and kick him.

So again, i am not talking about EVERYONE, but if i need to be specific, i mainly talked about most of the jaymod servers.

Also i found a server which seems decent, there i can finally play without getting harrassed by these idiot admins (harrassing = simply watching others getting abused, not ME), still there persist this huge problems. It is mainly the people i guess. Retarded.

Leaving to the big island while the rest of the community gets nuked ? well …
