I don’t think the terrain is of utmost importance, since the map is a river + river bank, its not gonna have a huge variation in terrain anyway. Maybe the river banks should be a bit more uneven.

you wouldn’t get more then 10FPS at all…

Don’t be afraid of using easygen to fix your terrain. Terrain brushes are extremely cheap because they only have one textured face and they won’t increase your tris count by much. If you make a terrain for a 11840 by 11840 square from say 256x256 brushes, you get about 2200 square brushes which is about 4400 tirangles total(actually you get 4400 triangle brushes but that’s not important). And that’s if you can see all of the terrain at once which I’m assuming you probably won’t be able to.
In any event you don’t have to do the whole thing if you don’t wan’t to. You can’t just make small prefabs in easygen and insert them here and there in your existing terrain just to spice it up a little.

You should fix the texture alignment on the shingles on those houses. Make sure it all matches up.

Wow. You’ve been working on this map for months now. How close are you now?
And btw, is there anyway to divide the map into sections? Like fuel dump, radar, goldrush, etc? It would improve the fps.
