Well i see it say’s 78% done, so you know the world wont end in 2004,
so lay off it for a few wk’s, work when you can etc seems an waste to leave it now :slight_smile:

aye… take your time… it gets frustrating i know… but don’t hand it off to someone to finish… take some time off and do something else. Ive stopped all mapping to learn new stuff from what sock posts and such… but its a break and everyone needs a break. to be honest, when you see pre-screens of what rought does with his ‘well of youth’ map, and other ppl’s screens of what they are working on, it’s inspring and makes you press on again, you know how much work is left til its done, and if it’s not done til sometime in 2004, thats ok, cause et is a great game and will play on for years to come :clap:

EDIT: i still play the 1st quake, and im not amazed at how many servers still run that, cause its a great game!

Also rought’s “Well of Youth” map was made for RtCW and he’s been working on it for 1-2 years now. So take a month or two break from mapping and come back with a fresh perspective of your map.

most of us are doing maps in our spare time so its ok. :slight_smile:

well, as i have seen that the screenshots until page 9 got lost (?) i made 15 new shots with the skybox of Battery!
