… never going to run around …
Team killing
My personal preference = FF on. My opinion on the subject = it doesn’t bother me that much to make a song and dance about it… especially since the game is going to cater to both.
In a perfect world FF-ON will force your teammates to play smarter and more careful, but unfortunately I rarely see that as true. KZ2 playing with FF-ON was a nightmare.
In Brink, is it 100% ON or OFF? Or can you alter the percentage? I think 50% FF-ON would be a good setting.
agree on both.
a 50% FF=On would be perfect imo
and i wouldn’t mind playing with FF=On as long as i’m playing with friends who i know will take the game seriously, otherwise it could be really frustating
nah, c’mon! on or off is enough, either you decide to go the one road or the other.
nobody will blame you for the way you prefer to play but 50%??? in the end ppl will go with 25% or 45,3%…
Well if it’s on in single player whats the reason to have it off by default online if it’s truly a seamless online offline experience?
I mistyped - I meant to say it will be off on singleplayer as well.
Oh those rare moments when you’re in the flow and instinctively use your opponent’s team-mates as bullet-shields abusing their hesitance to shoot you at the risk of wounding team-mates. Awesome.
I rather see clever sanctions in place. Why would the same small amount of xp be subtracted for each complaint? I’d rather see that accumulate. 10 for the first complaint, 20 for the second, 40 for the third up to whatever large amount you want someone to lose during a match.
This was addressed awhile ago. There is no need for TK revive since medics heal and revive for 100%.
If you think that FF should be on, then you have never played Halo or CoD 3.
That’s true!
But opposite could be said for the 2 SD games which her not ridiculous with FF off but less fun imo and they had good anti-TK griefing systems.
Hey Nail did W:ET have a good kick feature? I kinda said it without remembering, it had the F1 F2 system but not the complaints system right? (which was great in ETQW)
“People over there like to look down on people from this forum and take a elitist approach which is really pathetic”
there were complaints for TK with F1 and F2 and iirc, you could set kick number server side, but I use RconIT for kick/ban
You can’t deny that first part since there are a number of people to which that statement applies which is very lame don’t you agree?
And yeah, ok a good system for that too on server with good server settings.

best defense is always good admins on a server, an automated anti-griever system would be very hard to implement imo
Meh, i don’t know about an automated system, is it really necessary? most people should know whether they like or dislike being TK’d?
