which was removed in the etqw 4v4 ftml thread, I honestly dont feel like doing shoutcasts for a comp community like this.
Its just not the community it once was.
Ofc there has always been drama in QW and the occasional bitching amongst teams or players, but the best about ETQW community has always been that the majority of teams got along with each other and was friendly. One would have fun and help each other out and the maturity level was a lot higher in comparison to other game-communities, which made it so much fun playing with/against each other.
But now its just a bitch-fest and a competition about who can troll the hardest or who can ****-talk the fastest at a maturity-level of primary school.
Although my sense of humour usually has no limits, I just cant see anything funny in it anymore or maybe I´m ( in b4 the haters ) just getting too old for this kind of behaviour towards each other. Dunno. It´s defnately not worth spending time nor effort in. So we´ll just focus on our teams and the matches that need playing to get this cup/league over and done with.
I wish the new shoutcast team a lot of fun.

Shelly can i please apologise because for some reason you took offence to some harmless, meaningless fun comments that weren’t even aimed at you, and for the sake of dropping a “project” for it, doesn’t sound reasonable.
Can i put the whole flame/troll/immature comments into context…
We were playing a 4on4 against TAW who where using Hydrium under the fake nick, rUBBEN jumps on the server and suddenly reveals the truth… we are sitting on TS like “lolz e-drama, this is rediculous how could TAW not know,” but then rUBBEN was only pointing out that TAW would be punished (in some way?) so, the meaningless comments were half to point out that aero are also part of this situation and the other half was just a load of inside jokes between us on TS. Yet somehow you seemed to take all of our comments WAY out of proportion, and look indepth into every single bit of harmless fun and twist into some “ultimate troll community”.
Please just stop reading into our meanlingless comments so deeply and taking personal offence. I admit on paper and out of context they don’t look good, but when you are 5 guys on TS who are having a laugh, none of these comments are serious. We have no issue with TAW or Aero at all, (hell, ive played for aero many times and they are a great bunch of guys) all these comments were just inside jokes between us on TS and personally i don’t mind Hydrium playing for both teams… makes no difference to me, but rUBBEN is admin and has made a decision so prop’s to him.
I’ve tried to clear things up, but if you still want to take your bat home, then that’s completely up to you.

I thank you for your apology sam. It means a lot to me, coz i ve always respected and liked you and dthy and I was quite disappointed when I read the log last night that rex posted previously.
I guess you´re right about my perception of it being different from how it was for you on teamspeak etc. and I get what you´re saying. Its all good now.
I was just informed that rex and his team will be doing the shoutcasts from now on so nothing is lost. Lets just forget the topic and move on =) Thx again for your words, much appreciated. =)

In light of absence for a replacement team for shoutcasting, Team-Aero SHOUTcast will continue its services on independant basis. Shoutcasts can be requested for broadcasted matches and we can provide audio feedback to the tv viewers. (In the future this might expand to live video + audio streaming).
We should be ready for the start of season 2 and will provide the shoutcasts. Feel free to contact us if you want your match shoutcasted! We have a website, SHOUTcast radio, embedded chat, (embedded video stream) and an irc channel.
