Hello all I have searched the forums for a good bit now and I was wondering if anyone knew if they were going to add in Player to Player trading. I think it would be really cool to implement it into the game. For example I have a Cobalt Bushwacker card with some good perks and such but I dont use him so if they would implement player to player trading I could sell it for a Cobalt nader or someone I do like
Steam Trading Master Thread
I was just wondering if you ever thought about being able to trade cards or gift mercs or anything like that through steam or e-mail somehow. For instance I have a cobalt rhino that I don’t want and one of my friends would like it but currently there’s no way give it to him. Any thoughts?
Hello Dirty Bomb fellows,
wouldn’t it be cool to have a trading system with other players to trade unwanted cards to anybody in the internet?
I think that many people would like that and maybe later with more types of cards it might be a reasonable suggestion.
So, Miss Murder, if you read this or anybody else, close your eyes and think that you could trade a perfect inventory with other people’s help. I think this is a fun game and would love a trading aspect within it, trough STEAM or ingame.
Thank you for your time reading this,

If you need a Nader, call me
Ive come to Dirty Bomb from a long history of TF2 and CS:GO, and as such i have a long history of trading skins in those games.
The loadout system in Dirty Bomb has a lot of potential but i feel that without being able to trade the loadout cards it is missing out on so much. Having higher tier gold and cobalts feels so much less rewarding when you cant trade them to other people. Furthermore it adds a whole lot more investment into the game when you can trade up your worthless cards into more useful (or fancy) higher tier ones. Adding in an item trading system worked wonders for Counter Strike and i think Dirty Bomb could benefit a lot from it.
I got this idea because one of my friends had a loadout that i wanted and i had a
loadout that he wanted, So trading would be awesome in one of those cases.
To me it would be awesome if there would be an option to trade loadout cards
with friends or strangers. It would add so much more to Dirty Bomb having
the option to trade loadouts to get your favorite merc with the loadout you prefer.
Trading could be done through the Steam market or in game.
To me it sounds fair that only Iron, Bronze, Silver and Gold loadouts will become tradable.
Lead would still be gained from opening cases, but can’t be traded.
Also Cobalt would still be gained from opening cases, but can’t be traded.
I just wanted to share this idea so let me know what you think about it.

I’ve been thinking recently how good it would be if you could buy/sell/trade load out cards between player to player. For example if I was to get a cobalt card that I know I am never going to use, rather than it just sitting in your collection doing diddly squat I could put it on the market for say 100k credits for another player to save up for and buy. Another idea is Player to Player card trading? I feel like it would be very popular and give yet another incentive to keep raking in those credits. Win/Win Splash Damage?
On a side note, I also think it would be cool to be able to see your teammates load out cards while spectating them when you’re dead.
I know this has been suggested many times. But is there any news about this being implemented? I reckon DB would flourish if this Steam Market or Trading was to be implemented.
I will be merging all steam trading threads into this master thread.
Please do not create duplicate threads.
Thanks!

Hey, so I was wondering. In the future, maybe near future, will there be a trade feature where you will be able to trade your cards to your friends. I think this would be great as it’d open up alot of opportunities, one of them being able to do giveaways as a streamer. Another reason why I think this would be good is if you had a new friend and you had duplicate cards, instead of you trading them up, you would be able to give them to the friend and it’d help them out a little. I’m not meaning a Trading system that goes through steam, I mean a standalone one within the game that maybe includes a “invite” section for people on your steam friends.
This is just a suggestion, I don’t mean to cause any hassle by posting this.
- Wenno, love this game, great job!
Are you talking about trading or how the game sustain money to Splash Damage and Nexon ?
For the first case, I heard that Trading is something that is being considered as a potential addition. But I have no proof of what I saw, and if it’s true I doubt that it’s worked on so far.
For the second case, I guess Elite Crates are supposed to be the main source of money income.
Just not CoD community where 12 year olds talk about how big their d*ck is how they f**ked your mom last night, I’ll be happy with a economy of people actually dealing with each other nicely.

Im thinking like players can get income by getting rare items and selling them via steam like TF2 and CS:GO. So not only does the company get money spending money, but players can invest and gain a profit as well. Think of it as a stock market. Call me the Father Market
But it’s an idea really, we have to let the developers decide on the fate of the game haha
Ah yes, welcome to the club where business people talk business. haha. But people who don’t treat others nicely means bad market and rep for them.
I’d love to be able to sell drops on the community market like with CSGO, but I’m not sure how likely it is since Nexon is behind the game and they’d probably rather players pay them than pay each other and pay Valve. You know, with CSGO and TF2, those are both Valve games, so it makes sense to have the economy through which you make Steam money. With Nexon I feel like it’s more likely to see trading for Dirty Bomb credits than for Steam money.
Judging by Nexons’ administration of their other games (eg. Dragon Nest etc…), I highly doubt they will allow for a scenario in which players are able to profit real money from the game.
Although I see a lot of talk on the forum of how Elite Cases and Mercs are disproportionately expensive and too RNG based, personally I don’t mind what we have now. Either than buying mercs, the only other thing we can buy is loadout cards. So I don’t feel there is a need to implement easier ways of accessing them. I do understand where a lot of frustration is coming from though, it ain’t fun to lose in gambling, but that is just what gambling is, you win some, you lose some.
That does seem true but can you explain how it’s on steam as well? Im not saying youre incorrect haha i completely agree but the fact it’s on steam as well throws me off with youre statement. Good point though!

Ah, that is true how the horrid RNG gods play with our hearts, but what you say is true. However i think that Nexon just partner with the developers more so than created this game. I could be wrong and if i am please correct me.
Im just saying making an economy similar to those on CS:GO and TF2. I like the sound of that haha. Anyone else?
