Can someone from Splash Damage please update us on the status of release of the Full Version??
Perhaps you can simply release a TEST 2 Version, primarily to fix the worst bug, that being the constant server crashes the Admins are seeing.

My biggest issue is the constant crashing ET Test servers are seeing. I had to install server doc on my Server so it can automatically restart a crashed ET Test server.

:huh: In ASE I have seen 3-4 new game versions recently (like 2.47, 2.48.2.50,2.50.1) with dates as recently as yesterday and today, so id (pun intended) say that e3 or not, if new game versions are comin out someone is working hard at it.

Why do you feel Splash Damage owes you an explanation? They’ll release it when they release it. As a coder I can tell you they are busting their asses for a free product. I doubt if they are gonna pay anyone overtime just so you can get your hands on their free product a few days sooner. I don’t think they even pay overtime to coders.
ET is a gift from them. Enjoy it when it comes out or delete it.

Actually, Splash Damage is being payed by Activision to develop ET.
And Cain just wants to play the game/run a server because he likes it. Why is it a bad thing when he wants a stable version as soon as possible? It would be REALLY bad if no-one was interested in the final version.
A lot of ppl asking for the final version of any prodict is a good thing IMO. Atleast this way the coders know that they don’t code for nothing.

Hi Eric. I was not demanding an “explanation” I was merely asking for a status update. I am a 45 yeqar old business man, so I am most aware of client demands, however when you get to be my age you understand that clients who are demanding feel they way they do because they like your product and/or services. Better to have demanding clients than none at all. 
I’m certain SD feels the same way.
I really love this game and I run a very busy public server. I like the game so much I pulled another popular server, my UT2003 server, to make room for the ET Test.
The problem is the server crashes at least twice sometimes three times per hour. SD has repeatedly stated that they have the crashing problem fixed, so I would love to get my hands on that updated .dll or .exe so my server will become more stable.
I am going out of town today on business, and was hoping either the Full Version, or a Test 2 would be released before I left.
I hate to think of the regulars in my server not being able to play a more stable version, whether it is TEST 2, or the Full Version, on Cain’s Lair.
Everyone loves the game, they just want to know why it crashes constantly.

When is ET full being released?
Today is tomorrow and tomorrow will be another day. Lets hope the final release is not far off and all the things we have discussed in these forums has helped correct issues in the game which we have disliked and wanted to see more of. My guess is that the final release is a week or so away.

We are currently fixing the vchats sounds that nobody likes and a couple major bugs. We hope to have it done by the end of the week. This is only an estimate however since more issues may come up that could slow its completion.
