I guess were all forgetting how much SD has shared with us in the past, thay answer all our questions sarcasim. No offense too SD, that’s what there told not to do or whatever. And no offense to you Cain, i can see your anxious, we all are too, but there is no way SD is gonna tell you when next release is, until like a day before (if they do, i’ll stick my foot in my mouth). The best thing to do is just be patient. Remember, good things come to those who wait. :cool:

Every single game developer is like this and I’m surprised that nobody learns this.

Never ask the question when will this be out because you can not get an accurate reply. They actually gave an estimation which is extremely rare and look at the disappointment in the community when something unforeseen arose. Better for the game companies to just release it when it is done (and updates on progress is nice too :slight_smile: )

From what i can see it should be out soon(FngrzX). I’m seeing new game versions(2.50.2 or 2.51.0) show in ASE, with dates as recently as yesterday (19th).

My prediction is it will be released on Thursday.

(what Thursday is another story!!!)

At this point, if I had to bet I’d say maybe Friday or Saturday, or whatever day of the week May 25th is.

The Test was released April 25th, so there is a sort of symmetry to releasing the full Version on May 25.

Clearly that message about ET being released last week was either a hoax or something major has come up with the code that requires a lot of work to fix it. All this “maybe next week” talk is not going to make it happen any faster. My estimate is at least another 4 weeks. My reasoning? Well, I beleive that once ET is out, Activision will pull the funding plug and SD will only be able to update/add to ET in their spare time (when not working on the money spinner projects) and so they need to make sure ET is as good as it can be before final release. This takes time. A lot of time.

Hmmm,
Looks like RTCW for console’s are a hit from reading the news.
ET for consoles next…(big $$$)
So us Pc’ers test it out before they release it to console for the big bucks. i.e. Continued Support

I’m still stickin with a Thursday for release(just not sure what Thursday)

If they charged £££ for the PC version I would still pay for it and I’m sure many dedicated players would also. This could give the SD developers more fuding for future releases, updates, mods and maps.

From what I can see(ASE) they are working hard at it. :smiley:
Yet another new game version released today for beta, 2.52.1/May21
( We are playing 2.32/Apr 23 version that was released on Apr25th).

Its on the ^$ATVI QA ^qv75 2.52.1 206.17.227.50:30001 server.

ATVI is Activisions stock symbol QA (?quality assurance). It looks like the server is in Los Angeles( I ping in the 20’s to it…droooling). Looking now I see like 16 people pinging under 10, thats the kinda job i want, get to work and play.

This was from Wils, given in March, in relation to “Enemy Territory Release Date”. I found it while looking over the forums.

Don’t believe anything you hear by word of mouth, it’s all a rumor. They will be written here by the developers!

So, “when it’s done” is the most efficient anwser I’ve heard from them so far, even though it tells us nothing. =)
