You have a valid point there, and I can agree with both sides of the argument previously presented, but I do feel that it would be incredibly silly for any pre-purchasers to have a clear advantage over other players. Using TF2 was only an example, the ability to access weapons and hats that another person would have wait ages for only compares on a small scale. Yet, the person who has spent the money has a clear advantage, should they buy, say, the entire soldier set which has a bonus of increased health for example. I mean, what are the chances of unlocking an entire set without having to play the game for at least 50 hours?
I bought the new Medal of Honour Limited Ed, and that gives you access to two shotguns and I think an exclusive gun for the Spec Ops class in multiplayer. And that gun can only be used by the Americans. Personally, I don’t rate the game, it couldn’t hold me longer than it takes to demolish a packet of Custard Creams and the multiplayer sucked compared to BFBC2 and CoD. What I’m trying to say is that although Medal of Honour gave out a Weapon with the limited ed, it doesn’t mean its going to be any good, nor will everyone get on with it and as far as I can see, it made absolutely no difference in the game. Also, I feel that if you have taken an interest and pre-ordered Brink, I feel you should be entitled to an exclusive weapon skin, not neccessarily a new weapon.
