How many other games come out flawless? pretty much none, everygame i own or have owned for the most part has had plenty of issues at launch and no one seemed to complain nearly as much as many have with Brink. Things will get fixed or improved, hell many games people are in love with including myself still have bugs and flaws but they are still AMAZING games like Warhawk, RDR, BFBC2, FO:NV, MW1/MW2 etc…
Main flaw i find in this game is it attracted players who had no idea what they were getting into, they all failed to think outside the box and stick to playing lame as balls which is why they dont get the excitement many have for this game. Almost every complaint is a personal preferance and not a real complaint. Like many seem to want it to have this or that from another game cause thats what they like rather then using whats already there and enjoying it.
Pretty much without getting into specifics and every complaint it just seems like those who didnt like the game either have zero patience with new games or, they are people that rather then using their brain while utilizing and exploring the depth offered to them would prefer to just bitch and moan all day about what THEY SPECIFICALLY wanted this game to be and refuse to open up to new thoughts or ideas put into games…
One thing i truely love about this game is with all the weapons, looks, body types, classes, abilities and maps everything for the most part is totally balanced and allows you to play any style you want without feeling like you or others have an unfair advantage or dissadvantage. Everything you do or your team does comes down to the people playing and how they decide to use whats at their finger tips.
If you want to be lame and play basic without using all the cool stuff good for you and you will have just as good a chance as most others but maybe not as much fun, but if you want to try new things and explore all that is capable prepare to have an awesome/amazing ass time doing things in this game that you could only wish to have done in past fav games. Everyone just needs to forget about what games they used to play and just enjoy Brink for what it is and all the new and innovative things it has to offer. Play it how you want but dont blame Brink cause you play LAME, embrace it and go places a tactical team based fps has never gone before!!![/QUOTE]

BC2 release and Brink release are on par i think.
BC2 was nearly unplayable with release and so is Brink.
Pretty much the same symptoms.Crappy performance and lag.I’am not sure about the hitboxes in Brink but in BC2,oh jesus.
And they are still not fixed. >.<

Brink has still people playing too but i doubt there wont be much left if there wont be a heaven send patch which fixes performance for PC,lag for consoles and graphics for consoles.

actually i do like it… my problem is that i’m unable to play online, that the graphics are ruined by the big outlined objectives on the screen… that the parkour thing is not that usefull… with teh maps…
because… I was really expecting a great game… and it hasn’t been delivered… even if it looked great two years ago.

Well what to you is broken, you may not be the kind of person i am talking about.
The probs i have been having tend to be lag on occasion when boths sides are mostly all human but have had more good matches then lag broken matches.
No lobbies, yes we all want it and i assume something will be done to make it easier to connect with friends and also randoms.
Hiccups in matches where grenades thrown somehow arent thrown at all despite one pip gone from meter.
There are some others but I mean really most the thigns that are considered “broken” are things that can be adressed and fixed with time or just arent nealry as gamebreaking as people make them out to be. At times it can cause massive frustration if the moment is right but not even close to the rage i have felt playing COD or BFBC2 or KZ2 or any of those kinds of games because of flaws they had.
What from any past game ever to come out in history did anyone think this game was going to be the first Flawless fps online game of all time!
Just cant get through to the ignorant and narrowminded. I cant comprehend what draws people to games they dont like and forces them to post on the games forums bashing it 24/7. I dont like plenty of games but probbaly not always for the right reasons but non the less i never ever show up on their forums and expect anyone to really care what my opinion is about it especially when the game was never made for someone with my taste in games to begin with.
The people this game was made for love it so far for the most part, we all see the flaws too but have faith they will be adressed and fixed with time. This is the only game i have bought this year thats disc based and only one i plan to buy till this fall, nothing else is offering much that interest me, I AM GOING NO WHERE!
Before Brink last FPS i bought was BFBC2 day 1 and it took over for MW1/MW2 and MAG and i never looked backed, Feel Brink will be the same exact way.

I really hope they fix it… but as far as I played it… I don’t think it can get as good as it could’ve been…
but majorly I’m fine if I’ll be able to play it online… for now is just frustrating playing with dum bots by my side… and terminators on the enemy team… that’s it… PSN is up now but I’m still unable to play with some flesh and bones buddy, and this shouldn’t happen… I’m not b****ing arround, I should be able to play it online… if I’m not able to do so, something is wrong…

Thats great they won awards for a game that was not complete. The ones I posted were awards won for an actual finished product.
Brink did an excellent job of masking the terrible product that was to come.
I compare brink to a Lamborghini kit car. When you first saw it you thought it was the car of your dreams. Then when you finally took it for a ride you realized it was just a Pontiac Fiero under the hood.
