a true letdown! The graphics have worsened since last year. Its sad and thats why this game wont have the impact as other AAA+ titles… (my opinion! dont flame me to death)

Locki-SD answers: Not at all. There are improvements to come in optimisation, settings that improve the visuals, and maps that have more detail (depending on the gameplay goal). You’ll see some big differences in the coming weeks.

I mean, just r_megadrawmode 0 improves the quality by leaps and bounds suggesting that your video card can handle it (My 6800 has a harder time with that on high settings but still playable).

Like some of the old RtCW players complained about W:ET, how it was crap etc, but eventually got into playing it ? 
Compare the first version of ET with ET 2.60b running the latest ETPro and competition settings, then you’ll realize that it’s no longer the same game.
RtCW is still the “love of my life”, but playing ET is at least better than killing myself. :moo:

hmm my provider sux… like i didn’t know that. i had one provider, paid little, normal speed, nothing wrong until the company was bought by another company. my net speeds were a bit higher, price was same but my net sux badly, last summer i didn’t have net for a week… still sometimes my net goes kaput. getting them to giev me an email would be a miracle.
