There’s no guarantee that the steam profile shown by the game is not overlapped by the AC. I admit, most of the troll cheats we can see right now won’t take that kind of precautions. I really hope GM have opportunities to check steam_id plus some sort of ip tracking systems. Odds are still high to ban an innocent otherwise.

SD and Nexon do not seem to take the anticheating issues seriously in my honest opinion.

Perhaps this is more Nexon’s fault than SD (see Combat Arms).

But for the time being, they are probably just enjoying lining their pockets with money.

I hate to say it because I do feel that the game could be much better, but just being brutally honest.

When is the last time that the maps were balanced or changed to make certain stages not feel like cancer, spawn times balanced in SW mode so that the teams do not spawn at the exact same time every single game, or introduced new maps?

Since Alpha the maps have been pretty much the same, perhaps the developers should outsource their level design process to a third party company who can create some better maps.

I am a bit biased regarding the levels and map designs as they all feel a bit poorly done… SD did not design the best maps for RTCW either with Dam, Tram and Rocket which were never selected for high level comp. play either. ET had some good maps like Radar and Goldrush, perhaps porting over more ET maps would be helpful (see Bridge).

We played with the same guy then, probably yesterday. I left soon after I realised the other team doesn’t try to kick him. The dot at the end makes a difference, but Splash Damage apparent dependency on Steam names for cheater reporting/identification is just laughable.

They change nicknames only on steam to get not caught?? Those actually are even worse cheaters(I know from my trolling ragequiters on TF2 experience).

Even in that video, all it would take is just to spectate him. Tracking people through walls is already an easy indicator. Of course there’s always knowing where people are and the snaps which were both completely inhuman to keep that consistent.

Think we just came from the same game to mention this on the forums. but the dot isn’t a tell tale sign as I was in another game and the guy just straight up took exactly my name. seems to be a pretty wide spread hack atm. I imagine he got a new name next game he played anyways so I think you should be fine.
