I know i shouldn’t laugh and I don’t codone cheating, at all. (vote kick all hackers all day) but…shotgun sniper. I want that to be a thing some how some way (Despite my desperate hate for shotguns) xD it’s just…such a hilarious idea.

It’s sad this merc update has been overshadowed by dealing with this.

Saw this cheat twice today. Once in a pub, and once in comp. At least the other cheats you were able to counter the cheater with some smarts. But there’s no stopping this one

Also, that video reminds me of the skullmasher sniper rifle in Borderlands.

People who cheat in online games do it because they find it entertaining when they can ruin other peoples fun. Why they usually do it? Because they have real life issues. Nobody who has his/hers real life going well does stuff like that.

Protip: If nobody would say anything to cheaters and everyone just left the server quietly, cheaters wouldn’t gain any satisfaction to their crappy lives and they would stop and find some other way to ease their misery. The WORST thing you can do when encountering a cheater, is to give him attention.

No the best thing you can do to a cheater is vote kick. If you’ve ever knowingly had a blatant cheater on your team and you didn’t try to vote kick him you’re just as much of a punk as the cheater. If I get a blatant on my team I stop playing and tell everyone through voip and text to press F1. It’s really not that hard.

Well that’s because some hackers had implemented such a hack that it is impossible to kick him. If you click vote kick, it does nothing.

I registered just to comment on this. I was in this game and the reason no one kicked him is because he was changing his name every second to the names of everyone in the game. If they tried to kick him they would end up kicking someone else.

Why would that matter? You open up scoreboard. Click on the dude going godlike and press vote kick. It doesn’t matter how many times he changes his name he’ll still be on the top of the score board. Also I really doubt it’s set up to kick by “name” rather than account ID since it literally just takes a steam name chage to change your name.

I don’t think you understand. He changed his name to the names of the people in that game. He even had my name for a while. If someone had clicked him while he had my name a vote kick for ME would have started. They change their name like this specifically because you can’t kick them.

What are you on about? It doesn’t change the person the kick is targeting, if there were two people in the lobby with the same name, it wouldn’t kick both or the wrong one. I was against someone using this cheat and the enemy team kicked him no problem.

In that case I apologise I didn’t know it works that way. Back in the old day of cod4 these name changers couldn’t get kicked. Anyway I left the game after I saw he was cheating so I don’t know if anyone kicked him.

the name has to be different i believe the cheater will have an extra {.} at the end of his name (i think!)

the thing that bothers me about this cheat is this isnt something that uses just client/packet sniffing this cheat is sending the server commands that are not possible and the server is allowing them.
