I already said what happened. A new cheat was released and a cheater group is specifically targeting Dirty Bomb. Up until yesterday everything was mostly fine in regards to pub play. This event doesn’t erase all the time that came before it.[/quote]

Saw that one last night in a pub match, name-changing instakilling my entire team. Lucky for me I joined at the end of the match and it looked like he left but it was still annoying as hell.

On the plus side if cheater groups specifically target DB the game can’t be that dead :wink: .

Anyways just dropping by to give a positive account. Was playing Competive today and had my very first hacker in that mode (aimbot, and who knows what else).

Made a screenshot filed a report with name and time a description what happend + screenshot. 15 minutes after the automatic confirmation email, I got a second from a GM stating that the guy had several reports and they took care of it.

His name is blotted out to prevent the name and shame but, the dude on the enemy team was able to one shot kill other players, and could not be vote kicked by anyone at all, (i did get his steam profile and have reported him, with the unblotted picture,) or his teammates just didn’t want to :confused: in the end though my team won :smiley: Anyways, in the past couple of days i’ve seen more and more people with blatant and obvious hacks, including the name change hack and this insta kill hack. He didn’t join in until the second half of the game, and ended it with 92/12… i had 34/30, and pretty much all of those death were from being shot once with the timik. So yea there are hackers but they are being more and more apparent in the pub games, in the past few days i’ve noticed.

seems cheating is a attitude towards life.
It seems i came to dirty bopmb , cause he got an Valve VAC punishment.

I mean, it’s probably just a general thing, that you can’t votekick people from the enemy team, or something, but I tried to initiate a vote kick vs an obvious OHK ragebotter, who was switching names upon killing people, through the scoreboard interface, and it did absolutely nothing.
His team wouldn’t kick him either, instead they joined in on the spawn camping.

Either way, shit like this puts me off from playing games.

It is not overblown, the cheaters are getting more and more confident. We kicked one when he was on our team. One match later one joined the other team, who enjoyed the carry.

Im glad the cheat group is attacking dirty bomb / it’ll help the devs wake the fuck up, or help the players wake the fuck up…or, kill this game in a few days rather than a month or two.

The spectate don’t work. What you see on your screen is not what they are seeing or doing. In a lot of cases it looks like they are missing on your screen.

I have seen quite a big increase lately. So i can see where people are coming from. I avoid competitive so i can only imagine how bad it is there. But i’m talking about the blatant hackers ( Name changers ect ). You can never be 100% sure on the rest of them.
