I think its when she clicks create to make a new account. Hence why I think its a corrupted file somewhere.

hmmm i’d have to agree with mud, since i’ve followed this on both this forum and steam may i assume you used steam to purchase? if so verify the game files through steam if it comes back ok i’d honestly try an uninstall and redownload it

Did you tried to close all the stuff you don’t use on your toolbar before starting up the game?

Much easier is gamebooster it close temporary all the “unnessary” background services with one click.
I don’t have WindowsXP, but probably the game conflicts with another running program? :confused:
