Install it (your winspam is untouched), start it, install QW and play… ready.

You have not said wether you have followed all the activision advice. Which seems sound. Have you created a thread for this at steam forums. Post link please so we can see all infos.

all i would suggest is remove any adaware and virus scan.
In your error report pic you have several other programs running. kill them all. Look in task manager to stop running them if you cant manually. There’s obviously a conflict between programs.
