Hm, maybe Badman need a sidenic. I can’t find an other forum to bark on => my nic is bound to this site. So what can we do more then just wait for news? We need info, we are paying for hardware which is useless now. We need to know how SHORT this will take to fix.

Well it took about 3 months to get W:ET Masterserver working again, dont know if this will get solved faster.
So Id must pay $10000 for each person that was unable to pay the game in this period of time and $ 50000 for each server that got disconnected.
lol then i should put my server online then… 
but i would prefer that they spend that sum to get etqw back online with some fixes or just release the master server package so we can get at least one running. And if not asking too much release etqw source code, that would be even more useful!
We need authentication server back online!
Why does the server need an authentication in the first place anyway? It only checks for it the first time it runs…
So it makes even less sense.
And “they” still control the product! “They”, being ID/Bethesda.
[Me] sends a prayer for a source release at this years QuakeCon/Bethesda Marketing Conference. And release the assets, while you are at it! (Yes, I can always dream. But dreams are usually shattered by pubilshers:eek:) Or ETQW will die, no doubt.
As I recon, and that’s not much 
, it’s the authentication key that’s missing ( at least for us and all new servers )
Therefore the Auth. server needs to be up to provide and authenticate this… right or wrong ???

But what’s even stranger is today we started streaming to PBBan with a reply all’s ok and still no-one can join.
I guess patience is the best course of action

I don’t think we will be able to. We normally have a lot of servers online and we pay a lot of money for them, but don’t think we’ll ever get a refund.
