Dont bother going the Admins are so pathetic and weak and havnt got the brains to give a warning. :angry:

OK the teams were fair to start with I was allies but it did go down to 6 allies v 4 axis but I doubt it would have mattered if it was even since most of them seemed to think the Old City Wall is what u defend not the guns ,the game was done in 10 mins.

Anyway this guy called VIZ started saying how it was 6 v 3 ,I simply said actually it was 6 v 4 one axis left when he knew the north gun was about to blow and the game was lost ,VIZ said BS about this fact.I also said instead of spawn camping at the Old City Wall all the game(he was trying to lob Air strike 90% of the game from there) ,it may have lasted longer if you tried to defend the guns,he replied “is that all were supposed to do.” and said I was a noob for saying it ,so I called him a FAG for being a whiner,next thing BANNED.

All iam saying is were is the warning,he was the one who started calling me names ,he was the one making stuff up,yet iam the one banned,give a child power this is what u get.

Ive also noticed its a Jolt server I remember when my brother got banned from one of their servers the first hour Wolf Tactics mod came ou,he got banned for TKing one person by mistake.

Oh Well good job theres real admins out there :clap:

OK, first of, you could’ve taken this to the proper authority. #rtcw.servers in IRC or PM me or DG here or on the www.rtcw.co.uk forums.

Second, I personally never kick / ban without a warning but then I haven’t been on the server since the weekend so I’m unaware of the circumstances in this case.

Third, although the server is provided by Jolt it belongs to a guy called X-Cal who owns the rtcw.co.uk domain name. It is in no way affiliated with Jolt and has separate Admins.

Lastly, bad-mouthing a server on a public forum is probably the least likely way to get yourself un-banned, but hopefully DG will read this and take whatever action he feels appropriate, if any.

Theres your problem. Surefire way to get banned is to insult an admin. Even if he called you a n00b, deal with it. Calling him fag just makes you look like a bigger retard than he is.

First of all he never said he was an admin,or if he isnt an Admin why didnt the Admin what banned me say chill or I will after bann u.

Second why as he got an attitude problem just banning like that spells an attitude problem.

Third were is the warning.

Fourth it takes a lot for me to call somebody a FAG,Admins are supposed to be the ones setting the examples and standards I cant believe someone just stayed there without coming forward about being an Admin ,if this guy VIZ is an Admin he shouldnt be,infact he wants banning from what I saw that night both from is game play and his attitude.

I dont care if someone is an Admin ,if I know there wrong or there behaving in a wrong fashion iam not scared of telling them ,just because there an Admin doesnt mean they should be left to get away with anything they want and it doesnt mean there any better than u,of course it helps when u know who the Admins are so u know who ur talking to.

Didnt know u were Admins to that server or I would have,due to the pathetic way I was kicked then banned I assumed it was a n00b server.

I wouldnt have a problem with this if I was kicked or maybe a cooling off period of a couple of hours but just to be perm banned seems way out of line,not like it was me what started it.

I really think the Admins need a code to work with,its no good some being decent with the powers they have and then someone else just does what he likes ,try and make it so all the Admins work by rules e.g. a warning that you will be banned is a good idea,if they cant deal with those rules they shouldnt be an Admin.

After all is said and done iam a good team player,so its the servers loss iam not there not mine

I dont like saying bad things about any server ,but what am I supposed to think after all if the Admin was any good I wouldnt after post so you really have him to blame for this as much as me,iam used to good Admins who let you know were u stand,not Admins who hide waiting to bann people in a cowardly way,its says I was banned ny Admin=n ,this guy really needs looking at thats if you want the server to improve.

We both have the rtcw.co.uk Campaign and ETPro server IP’s in our sigs, but heh, I guess you’d have to be a regular on the rtcw.co.uk forums to have known (although the IRC channel is in the server MOTD as well).

PM me your playing name and IP Englander and I’ll see what I can do. No promises mind cos, no dis-respect, but I only know your side of the story at the moment.

Notable you go onto some other forum to whinge about it, rather than follow any of the more obvious methods to seek the head admin (i.e., me). A nice indicator of attitude and common sense, doesnt exactly support your indication that it was not you who was being argumentative or abusive.

There’s no Englander in the banfile, actually there isnt anything there recently that looks likely to be you, so it looks like either the ban has already been removed manually, or has been removed upon reset (a convenient way to have temporary bans removed). Going on the attitude indicated here though, I wouldnt exactly be feeling encouraged to remove it had it still been there.

Oh any btw the rtcw.co.uk servers have next to nothing to do with Jolt’s servers, admins or whatever, in much the same way as any of the clanservers running on a server hired from Jolt. Dont drag them down to our level :wink:

so just because I came hear to say what happened that means it indicates iam the one with the attitude problem,I dont really see how that can lead to any such conclusion.Ive already stated I didnt know people at SD forums were admins there if I did dont u think I would have PMed them.

Up to you guys who u wanna believe but I know I wasnt the one who started it or came out with the most abuse,ask anyone who I play with if ive got an attitude problem, and iam not gonna waste time trying to find out what forum if any the server has or how I can find any other admin from that server,not when I was banned in that fashion,all in all the way I was banned didnt warrant me trying to take time over it to go through the proper channels.

The way I was Banned led me to believe it was a n00b server so I came hear to warn people of that like ive seen others do in the past.

And I will say the Admin what did ban me was totally out of line,you should really watch who u make admins they might act all nice and sweet when ur around but when ur not they might well act like fools ,I dont know how often VIZ plays at your server but u should watch him.The fact remains if that admin had just sayed to VIZ chill or your gone this thread wouldnt exist and I wouldnt have had to say anything.But iam not gonna let someone talk to me in the way he did.

Well maybe if you were there and saw what this guy was saying to me cos I was telling the truth,I dont think hes used to someone saying he isnt right,He said I was talking BS and I got called a n00b simply cos I said someone disconned 10 seconds before the game ended and that if he tryed doing the objective the game may have lasted longer,I wouldnt mind if I was a n00b but I played RTCW for 2 yrs and ET from first day of beta release,so I felt he deserved to be called a fag for the way he was behaving ,if you banned me for that you wouldnt have many playing at your server if u did have one.

Saying BS when its a fact,n00b ,or fag are insults IMO so why arnt u saying u would ban the other guy too,good job ur not an admin :smiley:

(which by the way im still trying to master the 6 maps, so im a “noob”)

Actually all this name calling is becoming quite boring whilst playing ET
We have to remember that it is a game nobody is going to die. cmon people lets stamp it out I was abused just cause i called the wrong shot in a game and lost it . No wonder the youth of today have no respect for anything.

Talking bout the N word-
Me and a couple of my clan mates were playing on our public server, when after a sucessful defence of goldrush, someone on our team (member of the public) said “well we kept those allied N*****s out of our bank” to which everyone on our clan stated that they were black and then we kicked him off.

How we laughed . .

Now if only we had made a note of his name and GUID we could shame him on here :banghead:

Ever heard of being the bigger man? Notice how you can whine about the treatment you got without anyone here calling you ‘fag’? And I think he had the right to be a bit annoyed about the unfair teams, even if he was wrong about the numbers. Unfortunately not everyone can take a friendly advice after something like that. :frowning:

A warning would have been enough, a kick acceptable IMO. The ban was too much, but apparently it wasn’t permanent. What I don’t understand is why people doesn’t bother going to the correct forum (yes, 1st hit in Google) and asking for an explanation before telling the rest of us to avoid the server. If we listened to all those “warnings” we wouldn’t have any servers left to play on.

PS. Is this a close enough “approximation of normal English”? :smiley: (I’m curious what you mean with your sig…)

PS2. Don’t take this the wrong way, I know you’re a good sport and it’s always nice to play with you.

I’m still confused what you think you were kicked for; some difference of opinion about player numbers, something about spawncamping, being or not being a “n00b”, or being abusive and calling someone a derogatory term for a homosexual?

It seems to me you were abusive and got kicked for it, then lost your temper further and decided to continue to abuse in a chat forum whilst trying to badname both the server and the admin as publicly as possible. How long before you posted here did the kick occur? Days, hours or minuites? I think you lost your temper and behaved in a way that resulted in a kick, and because you lost your temper you were unable to perceive more reasonably and rationally.

Far as I’m concerned using a ban which isnt set pernamently is better than a kick, since players have a nice habit of being complete arseholes just before they are stopping play - one hour kicks arent much of a deterrent so someone going to bed.

Theres no need for anyone hear to call me a fag since iam not calling anyone hear a n00b and since iam not saying BS to anyone.Iam only calling the admin what banned me a n00b and VIZ the guy what started it all.

No respect was shown to me by the Admin ,he could have so easily come forward and stopped it way before I called anyone a fag,if I was the admin I would have told VIZ to chill after the second sentence he wrote,Since I was shown no respect I didnt feel the need to give any back and waste my time searching for their forums.All I can say his when someone starts calling me names for nothing I respond back,iam not the type just to say nothing,wether thats right or wrong I dont know but thats the way I am.Out of 3 yrs FPS play this is the first time ive been banned that also should suggest something.As I have said the way I was treated led me to believe it was a n00b server with n00b admins,if I knew there were admins of that server on SD forums I would have PM them but I didnt,but the fact remains a n00b admin does exist on that server.

The close approximation in my sig ,is a joke on a guy what said I needed it and I needed to goto school simply because I disagreed with him on a SD forum thread,I decided to put it my sig because I wanted him to know I dont care what he thinks.

when I was kicked I tryed to re-conn it said I was Banned.

I know why I was kicked/banned because I called him a fag,the fact is I still saw the guy in the server info playing while I was kicked/banned,thats the bit what got me ,if he was banned as well I wouldnt have posted anything,it was a case of double standards by a bad admin.I admit I was abusive but thats only after taking abuse from an idiot who thought he knew everything,no matter how u look at it DG an admin on ur server didnt do is job properly and thats not my fault,I decided to take this guy on because it didnt seem there was an admin around I wanted him to know not everyone will put up with his attitude and name calling.

When it comes to bad mouthing a server and admin because I was angry in public I admit ive done that but its the first time in 3 years ive had too.

The key thing to remember is if someone throws abuse at me on a server and an admin doesnt come forward to put an end to it then I will say something abusive back.

You dont after worry anyway I wont be going back ,its not like your even concerned that one of ur admins may not be up to the job.
You seem to like to think you can work people out DG you have already worked out in ur mind iam the one whos totally at fault and no one else is,but if your so good at working people out why have you got an admin on ur server what sux.

Anyway think what u like I dont care who doesnt agree or believe me anymore I know what happened thats good enough for me.
