It will have hitmarkers. Doesn’t it even have xp that flies off the enemy? Also, hitsounds ftw. ET has the best hitsounds ever.
Anyone else amused that this is a request for the final release? Not just any release, no the final one.
For many games, the release date comes before the product is done. OP mentions CoD.
I’m betting on a release date at the beginning of next month. If not then well closer to 14th/15th.

I can tell you it has nothing to do with the engine. I’ve played the Doom 3 leaked test (idtech4 engine) and the zombies rag-dolled marvelously.
My point been that it may have worked great in SP but that’s not to say it would have worked well in MP in an online situation, like lots of stuff that was taken out of ET:QW.
also it has gameplay implications, in SP and MP if your teammate is down and is rolling down a hill, it will be hard for you as a medic to paddle him up.
It may not be ragdoll, just the standard animation but throwing the model away…

it looks better than a stiff model flying around sideways in counter strike 1.6 style.
But that is pre-alpha footage.
sadly it looks alot better than recent footage they have shown us…(visually)
it’s darker, cleaner looking.
On top of that all we got recently was console footage.
the ps3 specifily, wich is known for making every game look too bright.
I really hope ragdolls will be present in the final game.
Even if they only apply to deaths caused by grenades to the face.
It would still be better than having the same last stand animation everytime you manage to down someone.
