While both games share the Enemy Terrority name Quake and Wolfenstein aren’t excatly two games that go hand in hand excatly. I’d expect some differences among them.
Realistic gameplay within the world?
Yeah, one got strogs vs humans and the other one got axis vs allies.
Then we got guns, weapons, vehicles changed…
But what stays the same is the fact it’s got ET in the name and SD making it. So gameplay won’t be messed up. And gameplay IS everything for a game that should last a while.
Ive run across some good snipers. And, I am not sure on this… but I beleive one shot sniper kills ARE possible in ET… If you hit anyone but a medic in the head with a sniper rifle, I beleive it will kill them. Its been a while though so im not positive on that. Either way… I know that two shots will kill them.
anywho… if you think it doesnt take skill to kill someone with head to head at 5 paces… then you have spent too much time daydreaming up on your sniper hill. Even the best snipers ive known have said that sniping takes no skill… a knack perhaps, but its a simple case of point and click… you just have to know how to do it correctly. And they also know that sniping is very situational… and can almost never be done for the entire map. Its something you do in certain situations, for a limited amount of time… to help with defense, or to clear out a position that is heavily defensed.
yeah one shot kills… i played sniper a bit yesterday… got 2 one shot kills to the head in one round. i think if they have lost there helmet already then you can but otherwise it is 2 shots…
Yes, that’s right.
A sniper headshot takes 100 HP. And this is the problem: spawning with a medic in your team increases the overall health of your team.
This can be found in the ET docs, I believe everyone gets 110 HP for having 1 med in the team, 120 for 2, etc. (There is a cap though)
That way you can kill someone in a team without a medic with one shot and would it take 2 to kill one with a medic. Medics ARE important for this purpose.
And if they lost their helmet, there’s a big chance they’re allready wounded by getting their helmet shot off. If fully patched up by a medic, you’re ao unlucky to use 2 shots.
