Question with pre-order

UPDATE. The EB games in st vital shopping centre in Winnipeg has 2 quake wars copies left, well I assumed that since they put 3 boxes on the shelf and i took one and they took the box away and gave me a DVD case.

When I opened it, I was like pffft. I checked the poster and I said, "Damn, didn’t get the one with all the character classes’ mugs.

Since all preorders give you the titan tank and the tormenter attack craft cards, how is it possible to get all 12, WITHOUT buying six or more ETQW games?

BAH, I have to buy 5 other friggin ETQWs just to get the other 10, if placed so it is always card 3 with card 4, 5 with 6 etc etc. If random, then my chances of getting all the cards would be slim to none. It is just like buying Mc donalds happy meals and trying to get all the toys without eating too many burgers.

in other words, all the pre orders come with the tank and the strogg gunship, the CE will have the rest for you.

The replies were you can’t do that. He then goes on asking the same question and does not get it.

Hopefully you are right about that. Which I’m pretty sure you are. Because it would be a ripoff that one cannot get all 12 without buying 6 seperate games.

Well I can only hope. Because on the pic you showed me, it could mean the one that you are getting, or it could mean the ones that are randomly placed in other packs that you aren’t getting without getting a double.

Wait, you can’t get the collectors edition in stores once the game is out right? Then you are probably right.

NO, I don’t want to eat tapir burgers for collectors cards.

One problem I got here was that EB says that they have the game at June 16, while I get the ordered non collectors edition online at June 15. I guess 1 day for the collectors stuff is a big bonus. Time to cancel my original Futureshop order.

The Collectors Edition will probably be available at the same time as regular retail game, just in fancier box with goodies for a slightly higher price, it will include the other 10 cards, only preorders will get the 2 you got

Ugh, I can’t even find the cancel order button in the my orders page from futureshop.ca. I bought 3 items and are already en route. Now I can’t get rid of the 4th item which happens to be the regular quake wars. Well if I do get it, I might give it to someone, or keep it because the box art will be different.

I guess I can’t cancel it until I receive the other 3. 2 ps2 memory cards, and GTA LCS and GTA VCS.

phone them, or visit customer service in a store and ask, they’re usually accomodating if you present yourself correctly, plus they will usually accept unopened boxes for credit

true, I already emailed support@futureshop.com so I’m waiting for a reply right now. If they give me the same link that leads me nowhere, then I guess I’ll give the extra copy to someone. Or keep it for the craptop I have that can’t even run the game.

I also guess it is possible to return it once I get it, but I’m not really sure because I don’t have the receipt.

Activision has posted up the details recently for pre-orders and Limited Edition versions of Enemy Territory: Quake Wars. Pre-orders will begin on March 26th at Gamestop and April 12th over at Best Buy. If you wish to pre-order the game you will be rewarded with the following:

no, I didn’t buy 5. I ordered online at futureshop before I bought the preorder at EBgames. I was thinking that where I live, I wouldn’t get any preorders so I decided go ahead with the online order.

Low and behold, it is in EBgames, and now I have to cancel the quake wars order I made to futureshop.ca (I only bought one there) so that makes 2. One from EB and the other from futureshop.
