What are some of the new things we can expect from Stopwatch mode? (if any)

-
Are there any gameplay mechanics, you specifically wanted to include into Brink but decided to scrap? If so, could you elaborate on them

-
Who is the guy at SD you fear the most when playing Brink?

Q&A for Brink - Questions Needed
Iād say keep question 6 for after release, you can put them into perspective better.
- We learned in the recent RPS interview (with the very funny Ed Stern), that the footsteps differ in sound depending on player size.
Does the sound also differ depending on faction?
- Ed Stern also mentioned an ability called āSilent Runningā.
Is the walking function we saw in ETQW, in Brink as a default way of being sneaky?
good gamemode/map for unstoppable gameplay ?
ie without time limit.
with self-sufficient and evolving[in closed/intersected loops of scenario/minigames]gameplay.
or to saturate 4-10 hours at least[like Arma2 Warfare forks does this time]in single match.
Ammo.
There seems to be a pretty big shortage of it in all of the demo videos Iāve seen. I hope they address this problem.
Itās handed out by soldiers.
Q: Will ping be displayed on the current gameās mid-game scoreboard? Iāve seen a few games where viewing ping is not available, and you canāt tell if/how badly youāre lagging.
Yeah, I realize soldiers give out ammo. But what happens when there arenāt any around? Answer: you die.
I really donāt want to have to ask for ammo when Iām out. Iām sure those soldiers are going to be tied up with other stuff and dealing out ammo is probably going to be the least of their concerns. I can already tell that Iām going to have to beef up the ammo capacity of whatever gun I choose. After all, damage doesnāt mean squat if you donāt have any bullets.

If you really want/need ammo that bad, change your class to Soldier. At the very least, you can reload at a CP.
Dude if youāre so far away from your team that you have no access to ammo, you arenāt playing the game as intended.
Probability suggests that in any pub game there will be a soldier on the team, and they will be able to hand out ammo. If not, goto CP as said, or die and respawn with a full loadout. Youāll have several clips of ammo, plus a sidearm and melee attack. That should last you until you can get to a nearby soldier, unless youāre a really bad aim.
Chances are, not only will there be a Solider, but many of them. If I see there being a shortage of any class, it is Medic and/or Engineer.
Thereāll be a good mix of Engie I reckon, because people will want to XP grab, and I would assume that there will be a lot of engineer objectives.

Unless your an operative and that is part of the job. However if you end up far from help without any ammo well that is your fault.
Q. Will you teammates be able to see through an operativeās disguise and still interact with them?? (Give ammo or buff etc)

Do players have access to their characters after a reinstall of the game?

-
Can medics Lazarus Nade themselves? Or is it designed so that only your teammates benefit?

-
Are there different types of Lazarus Nades that affect attributes other than Health?

Thatās a good question. How much use does it get out of SteamCloud? Unlocks? Progress Saves? Characters etc?

The same thing happens when there arenāt any medics around.
I have a good question⦠Brink was delayed in order to not face the FPS to come, medal of honor and call of duty⦠Even if those to are masse bull****, with short and lame solo, and unbalanced multiā¦
Then brink is delayed now to February/march when he will meet much more adversary⦠Killzone 3, that all PS3 players will get or close, Crysisy 2, and bulletstorm which seem to be quite original. Some games who are far more better and ādangerousā than COD and MOH (the COD FAns and MOH player will surely not play brink who is far supperior in his gameplay and where you need to thinkā¦)
So now Iām not sure that spring is a good dateā¦especially when summers feels so empty (no editors release game in summer when this is excatly the period when peoples have a huge amount of time to spend in gamesā¦)
So why not a new release date, and whit the 6 month delay already + this āpossibleā delay itāll give you more time to polish that game or maybe add a thing or two⦠coughfemaleskinscough

First of all CoD Black Ops has sold more in Pre- Orders than Cod: MW2 did in 1 week sales. So it would have been hell to release from September-January IMO.
Killzone 3 wonāt be releasing early next year if at all next year, I am dead sure it will get pushed. As far as Bulletstorm goes it is a new title just like Brink so the contending factor is fairly similar in my mind. Crysis on the other hand didnāt do too well originally due to its massive consumption of CPU, so weāll see what people think about the sequel.
I know many people that are getting Brink when it comes out but are already buying Black Ops where as only myself and one other wants Crysis 2, one that wants Bulletstorm and none that want Killzone 3.
Plus I think it will give Splash Damage some time to polish the game even more ;D or a vacation. Either way good for them!
As far as my questions and someone on the boards might be able to answer it because Iām sure Iāve heard it before, but are there going to be limitations on classes? Like can there be a whole team of Operatives or would ou only be able to have three Operatives?
I think Brink is slowly starting to become a threat to the titles named above.
