No need to go up ladders and crap… As a matter of fact i can place an artillery hit almost to the axis door by coming out of allies spawn going to the left by the crates and calling it off the sky from there. clearly doesn’t know the Wolfenstein community which has some
differences when compared to a CS community for example.
The wolf community has always been pretty open with these kind of
things, if you can do something, it’s most likely allowed (with common
sense, of course). This is true for tweaking too, people play with no
textures and walls glowing light. Some foreigners may think that this
is far from how it should be. I don’t, I think that this kind of
behaviour is great. Who says that walls need to have textures on them?
Who says that everything should be like the developers meant it to be?
Who says that games have to be realistic? As long as these things
don’t dramatically affect the game play they’re fine for me. Of course
some wolfers might disagree with me but this is how I’ve always felt it
like. Call me a cheater, I don’t care. You just need to live with the community.
I’d love to see these cheat demos, so how about dropping the bullshit and

I have NEVER said that you cannot cheat in ET or RTCW. Neither has DG, or anyone else with half a clue. I just said that I HAD NOT SEEN ANY OBVIOUS CHEATS IN RTCW OR ET. I know well enough that cheats DO exist. Every online game has them. I also know that someone headshotting you from across the map does NOT mean they are cheating. I know that because most of the top players can do it consistantly, and I have good reasons to think they don’t ALL cheat. You yourself addmitted that it was an unlikely proposition. Unless a cheat is blatently obvious (like the one I described in urt) there is no real way to tell.
I look forward to seeing your demos when you post them.
Do you really not know that 1/4 to 1/3 of on-line gamers
are over 30 yrs old? A large percentage of the best
players are between, say, 35 and 47 years old.
A lot of the guys fragging you in your games are over 35.

Not wishing to side with IRONMAN here, but there are a lot of “older”
players out there. I’m 39 and I know a lot of other thirty-somethings that
play RTCW and E.T., and why shouldn’t they? Give me a mature player
who at least attempts to achieve the objectives than a kid only concerned
with his kill/death ratio anyday.
Trying to get this back on topic, can you answer a simple question
IRONMAN?
I do a fresh, new, re-install of RTCW. I don’t change anything in the
in-game menus, I don’t tweak a single cvar. I don’t use any 3rd party
software (aimbot, wallhack,etc.). I join a server playing Assault. I select
Allied Lieutenant through the Limbo menu (no Class script of any kind).
2 or 3 seconds after spawn I drop an Arty strike on the boxs on the other
side of Axis gate. Am I a cheat?
Now think about this. Think about it long and hard. I’ve done nothing
except use knowledge and experience gained through playing the game.
Am I a cheat?
I haven’t tweaked a single cvar, I haven’t even changed a single setting in
the game’s own menus. Am I a cheat?
Think about it. I haven’t changed anything. How can that make me
a cheat?
If the answer is no, as it should be, then might it not be that some of
these other “cheats” you claim to have seen are not cheats at all, but
simply people with more knowledge and experience of the game than you?
Furthermore, we’ve done the Arty on Assault issue to death now. What
other “cheats” have you seen? Describe some of the other instances
where, in your vast knowledge and experience of FPS games, someone
has done something that indicated to you they were cheating. I’d
understand if you were reluctant to do so, you’ve made a pretty big fool
of yourself already, but I think your reputation is beyond repair now so
why not go for it. Please describe the other “cheats” you claim to see on
an almost daily basis.
