BTW: rules not posted yet cuz I’m pretty dumbed down by alcool but its 4V4 inf only with custom maps!!! I’ll get to the clan leader thru game tomorrow but if some (susefreak) can talk for me it would be easier and faster.

It’s a good idea. Don’t know when you plan on starting it but after NA cup is over I am planning on doing an invitational 6v6 for pub teams only. Hopefully more of them will get out and play if they are competing against each other instead of established pro teams and teams supplemented by lots of ringers because that’s a painful learning curve. Hats off to clan’s like SUP who field a new team of just their own clan guys to compete… they should get to compete against similar teams made up only (or at least 80%) of just clan members.

We’ll see if it works out.

Yup thats my plan, we arent at all in “competition” here, if you gzr have some unexperimented guyz over here you can reg! the point is just to get more ppl into comp without gettin steamrolled, and with custom maps as maridia or radar for 4V4, I’m actually talking to all NA “keys” or leader and we’ll see if we can go happily thru this!

Nice apples, really nice.

I put it in the group and by the looks of it people are really enthusiastic about it.
I can’t say if how many teams we are going to sing up, but I think atleast 1 NA team will show.

If you need help with organising, or setting up servers, I’m willing to help out.

Is the match only going to be played on custom maps or is it a mix of official maps and customs?

Add or mail Dochie and Lock22, these guys are the best persons to contact about that.

Mix of official and custom I guess, ty susefreak I’ll maybe need servers me think, but I can also ask some comp team to lend their servers from time to time or rent some myself for one month or 2, not that much expensive :wink:

Rules will be CB 4on4 ones, basically its infantry only and limitation of heavie weapons and number of sniper.

Quick modification as its easier for everyone, I just request the team leader or captain to signup, just to have one person of each team to talk to, once its done, I’ll give them my mail and you’ll be required to send me your team’s roster (including subs if you have any). This way its quicker and not everyone have to join another site etc etc.

The point is to do an easy thing for everyone, and to play seriously (cuz if you dont train a bit its useless to comp) but in a fun n friendlly environment.

Rules posted, still waiting for more pub clan to signup tho… MOVE!

7 teams so far, I repeat than one big pub clan can signup more than one 4 men team if they have enough member, but players cant switch team during the season, same clan or not.

Still need roster from many clan tho (many pub clan…) Mostly team captains reg and they never visit the site again, i’m trying to do it as easy as possible but sometimes when ppl ignore my message I’m getting a bit angry… I already babysit ppl, if they need more then they dont deserve the “gamer” status…

Sry bout that but a bit angry bout some captain’s “commitment”

I personaly dont care, i play custom every sunday plus propub from time to time, I dont gain anything to organise that cup, if ppl are just lazy, then dont signup… lazy arses after the signup just make me sick!

Hehe just checked the lineup I dont see 1 team I would consider “pubclan” this is just a minor clanbase competition with people smurfing and openly signingup :smiley: Gonna be fun tho ^^ good job apples :slight_smile: with people like you this game still may have hope!

well, i understand how your nerves might be tried at this point. the exact reason i haven’t signed up our clan ((bh)) is because i didn’t want to commit until we have a reliable roster. i guess we are getting there and will be able to sign at the last possible second. don’t mean to drag you around on this but we are doing what we can. appreciate you making the effort and raising our interest on our forums. sorry you encountered a bit more hassle than maybe you anticipated. much thanks…

nvm sereNADE, it was my “I_drunk_and_angry” comment of the week, more to come :wink: I didnt erase neither edit it tho cuz soemtimes a kick in the butt motivates more people to move :smiley: Wasnt even complaining bout your case also, was more angry at ppl who signup then just wont answer to any messages or become suddenly unreachable, it creates confusion as I’m not sure if they’ll participate for good or not.

Yup there are many comp team also, but I assigned them to seperate groups to keep the pubberz out of this slaughter :smiley:

So far pubside we have:

EU : MCE / ST / Q24 / UC /

NA : SuP / Cronix / dps / Floyd / NWE or cronix2 (confused here :D)

Well I still miss some roster from these guyz cuz as almost no one use IRC its pretty damn hard to reach them and to keep them updated, well, I tryed my best and the comp will start at the right date no matter what!
