[left]Hi @MissMurder, I got my new security kick out today and I would like to know if following are also on your list of no-no’s.

  • Vmware Player - Virtualisation platform
  • Malwarebytes - Anti-Malware
  • Nvidia Shadowplay - Recording gameplay
  • Input Director - Input redirection, when cursor off screen.
  • AutoIT - Scripting language for automating GUI and scripting.

(Just realised that AutoIT might have been the reason, if it is the case that anti-cheat sniffs around my \program files\ directory. But was not running, it’s used as standalone exes .)

The second and probably the most important question, Do I need to uninstall them before running the game, or will it be enough to shut them down? (I mean dual-use tools)

As a Cherry on the top for this story, I removed all that I could and logged back in, waiting for another kick… And I got it from hacker at the first game. I lasted (longer) 6 min this time and logged off without a security kick out. :confused: I have very conflicting feelings…

I hope everything is fine in a fortnight.
I have work related reasoning for some of the tools above, and work comes before play. Alas I feel that I enjoy work more, than the FUD around this subject.

Been kicked a few times but never did say what programs got me kicked. maybe just a crash as happens rarely.
am sure the kone xtd mouse program is fine as it just remaps buttons, shadowplay is defo fine.

tbh am ok with them scanning my system if it means less cheaters ingame. :slight_smile:

I played the game a total of 5 hours I just started to actually like it. I never done anything wrong in the game. I never typed in it’s chat in game and hardly ever spoke on the voice chat in game. I never cheated in the game. I never used any software out side of the game. I was actually glad that the game has anti cheat cause it gave me an assurance that I wouldn’t be cheated. 5 hours in and I go to log in and it says my account is permanently suspended, for 0 reason. It says 3rd party tools. My mouse and keyboard both have macros built in to them but not set up for dirty bomb at all. It’s actually not fair as these features are built into my hardware. Im glad I didn’t spend money in this game. The game is basically no different from any of the cod games. Csgo, f2f, ava, ext. There’s really nothing special about the game either. But it’s a horrible way to treat its customers for things that are out of our control. Nexon you should be ashamed. 5 hours of game play and you ban me. Your game ain’t good enough to even be installed in my machine. Now I’ll boycott it and tell people every reason to not play, specially not spend money on this game. It seems these stream games are full of abusive gms. Adios ah"s

Well I think overwolf also get your kicked out of the game and banned. Or my logitech G600 gaming mouse with the logitech gaming software. Now I wont get unbanned. At least I didnt spend any money on this game yet. I will prolly wait for BnS now because contacting support is pointless.

What about accidentally leaving up your VPN? I did this once. Had terrible lag. Killed VPN. Got booted from game. Next day, perma-ban. Did I mention this was AFTER I spent $25 on a merc pack? No two-day warning. Account gone. Money gone. GM Dude told me to create a new account. On same pc. Haven’t left VPN up since and no ban on new account. Worst gaming experience I’ve ever had. These people don’t understand logic. You don’t spend money on a free game if you plan on cheating. Just cheat.

@smartKeeper You wouldn’t get banned for using a VPN, as far as I know. I have nothing to do with the GM’s or tech support like that, but it seems odd you would be banned for just using a VPN. Did you have any other suspicious programs running that you forgot about? I doubt that would be it. :confused:

i see allot of people getting banns i guess some did cheat? an i know of a few that did not cheat an they are screwed. So the thing is since we know some people did not actually cheat will they get a second chance when the game is out of beta ? I think they should be given another chance cause lets face it most people installed the game with steam an theres no list of programs anywhere that say hey just to let you know certain programs like sandboxie will get u banned or even traffic limiters built on your motherboard this can cost the game allot of money please reconsider an give people a chance when the game is fully launched out of the beta :slight_smile:

Rebinding keys is not considered cheating. You can rebind keys from within the game settings.

i use sandboxie even when playing, simply because i sandbox my browser-sessions. and i browse the web while playing - better said waiting, the waiting times for a new round to start are horrible, including the not so well thought ui workflow/behavior it makes me facepalm frequently.
anti-cheat needs to get sorted, its not the advanced users fault if a detection goes rampage.

I created an account, I installed the game. what was my surprise when thrown me out of the game for no reason. But that’s nothing, because I could keep playing but as I turned off anti-virus program. I did not use any hook. My question is as follows. Had this game if you do not work when antivirus is turned spy on my computer. Sorry for my English. But such situations are some ridicule. >:) :’(

Your account is locked out forever … For the use of the third program … what? Since when Skype, RaidCall are banned ?! If your anti-cheat, to put it mildly, does not cope with the work then why do we need it ?!
