It’s disappointing to read that sandboxie is on the blacklist for this game. I currently run multi-seat using Aster/Sandboxie so that my girlfriend and I can use my main machine to game together. Now I can no longer play a game I’ve invested a good amount of cash on whenever my girlfriend happens to be using the computer. I’d like to add my name to a list of people disgruntled with the existence of SandBoxie on this list.

I’m here to address a concern I have with a Ban I recently received, I was permanently banned for a program running in the background (Admittedly, it was an injector program I was using for some tests in Garry’s Mod) which I had forgotten to close, I have not received any reports for hacking from other players and certainly would never use a script in Dirty Bomb, my ban still sits at a permanent state and while I respect the right to ban for utilising a third party program, I think the system should be reconsidered.

Here I sit, somebody who was permanently banned over a MISTAKE, waiting for some form of assistance, the message I was given felt robotic, as though I wasn’t the only person this response this message was pasted to.

If it’s possible for me to get in contact with somebody about this I would be extremely grateful, all I want is to get back into a game which I have already dedicated a days worth of gameplay into (and intend on putting more time into in the future)

So I have a question,

A friend of mine uses a Injector in Garry’s Mod (same as guy above me), The injector is only able to be used in Garry’s Mod and was only used for our own personal servers we run.

There has been a few times he has left it open on accident and when launching Dirty Bomb the game forced closed and asked him to close any third party programs he may be running so he did. A few days after his account got suspended and upon contacting customer support he received a email (that looks automated) saying blah blah detected third party cant unban.

Why should a account be banned for using a program that has nothing to do with Dirty Bomb? He openly admitted to the injector as well as sending screenshots of the program its self and how its used. Nothing was hidden and he was completely honest with the staff, but yet all he can get in reply is a automated message. I honestly believe there needs to be a better review system than just automated massages all the time.

Now my question is would it even be possible for him to get unbanned?

I’ve been frequenting this thread for a while now and this is a very familiar situation to my own.

I understand they are trying to prevent hackers and is cracking down.
But to PERMA BAN someone for a program they have that is used ONLY and can ONLY be used on gmod is a little wrong to me.

There was no evidence to support that he is hacking or tried to hack. The only thing was that the system flagged him for having a third party program opened and asked him to close it, So he did and that was the end of it.

while reading trough the comments I see quite alot of peaple claiming scripts such ash AHK (auto hot key) can get you banned. This is (mod correct me if i’m wrong) not ture as it does not alter/read game memory or packets. All it does is fake human inputs.

the issue is people’s accounts are getting flagged and banned for stuff that shoulden’t even be a issue. I know someone who kept getting his game closed when launching Dxtory and than got suspended for it.

Now they don’t seem to care and just send automated messages back.
Good way to lose players.

Just served my two day punishment for daring to run Sandboxie on my PC while playing Dirty Bomb. Why do you bother with this amateurishly coded thing that looks like malware (dodgy clipart of a man with magnifying glass and messages like "~~SUSPICIOUS PROGRAM DETECTED!~. I guess its cheap.

Dear Nexeon,

The time is 21:55 BST on the 8th of August 2015. I just made the terrible mistake of attempting to browse a website while dirty bomb was on auto-join. This yet again triggered xigncode due to my web browser automatically being sandboxed. I assume this will mean another ban.

so I had a few of these running on my computer though there were no malicious purposes for them. I went through and uninstalled them and I still can’t play this game, why is this? In addition I want to say that its really frustrating that to play a game I have to monitor what else I run on my computer.
