The main reason I’m hooked to Battelfield 2 is because I can follow my progress and statistics all the time, on many stats websites. Also the rank possibility and new unlocks etc. are something that draws many players to the game.
Please include these things in ET: Quake Wars, it already looks like a much better game than BF2!
Stay with Battlefield 2, please. Luckily so far QW is steering as far away from BF2 as possible because it is the biggest pile of dung ever to be released to the general public. The makers of it can burn in hell
I agree that BF2 is probably the game with most bugs ever released, and looks like EA doens’t give a sh*t…
But the stats/ranks part is true and innovative, it makes it an MMOFPS, and quite addictive (when it works 
)
You can follow your stats on SplatterLadder or csports…
Me I don’t care about stats just enjoyment I garner from the game.
Kills/Deaths/Accuracy, fine. Unlocks? No frickin way. Unlockable weapons in a MP FPS is just stupid.
And since you guys are already bashing BF2, I’d also like to say that it’s a piece of crap, the bugs in BF2 make it completely unplayable for me.

are you judging from the barely dozen of pictures or the one short video? if you say that even these stills are better than the game you’ve played, how cum you want anything in et:qw that has the slightest similarity with bf2?
it is a constructive forum and afaik SD appreciates suggestions and they take every post into consideration.
but apperently you don’t have any arguments to convice the readers here. only saying “it will be better” is not an argument. you better cum up with numbers, ideas and innovations than the feeling that arises out of your stomach :bump:

It would seem that way, it just that so many people have already raised points similar to the one u have and now when a new one comes along most people go straight for the jugular! Dont take it personally, we detest BF2 and generally those who utter it’s evil name get cast into the fire of Mount Doom.
On a totally unrelated topic, i would avoid persistant ranking. They are for people who feel inferior and have small knobs!

The stats system is the only good thing in BF2 I think. But not that good I would get the game, though.
