I got a code from my Play.com order this morning, too bad I cancelled my order with them two weeks ago :banghead:
Play.com (United Kingdom Reseller)
LOL @ Play
Several of our Clan members (including me) recieved their codes from Play today - And weve all already cancelled our orders
Tards !
Yep, one of my Clan members got his, and he cancelled too!!
I don’t suppose it really makes any difference, as you need the CD key to activate it anyway - so even if you don’t get your game from Play, you can still use the code!
So, hypothetically, is there any reason why “someone” could give a spare code to “someone else” and they buy the game without pre reg code and use the “spare” code with their CD key ?
Cool - But i suppose “someone” couldnt use two pre reg codes as they are CD key locked ??
If someone used 2 codes, they would need 2 cd keys to activate them IMO.
I may reserve someone elses name now with my game preorder and hold it to ransom cough chin cough
oh my, isn’t this hylarious? I’ve just received my code from play.com and I cancelled my preorder yesterday

I’ve reserved IRONMAN, hehe that should piss him off
Ditto, and I cancelled mine over a week ago! Well, there’s no disclaimer attached, so who wants a code?
I cancelled mine about 10 days ago, but haven’t received a code from Play - I almost feel pissed off that I haven’t got one from em!!
I’ve got a couple of mates who aren’t pre ordering, if I do get one I’ll just let one of them have it.
 Got my code from Play.com aswell, even though order was cancelled. Ah well, I’ll save the email but as I have no other CD-KEY, there’s no point doing anything with it.
Thank you for pre-ordering and registering your game name tag for Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars™. Your game name is reserved, but to complete the process you will need to associate your game tag to a retail CD Key. This feature is not yet active. Please come back to this page on game launch day to complete this process.
Rekon the servers will be able to cope?
Probably not. They should allow people to enter their retail codes at least a couple of days before the actual launch date.
I wasted a full day trying to input my LOTRO stress test code last January. Everyone ended up stressing the Codemasters Account website not the game itself…
