pb ban worthless?

For some reason the busted hackers (see mythos demo player thread) sverige and coldcookieweapon are STILL playing on servers (with different names ofc). Especially on the Frageur-From-France and the TAW EU server. How can this be?

Is it the fault of pb? Or are the admins here ignoring pb bans and letting them play on their servers?

Afaik in the past when someone was banned by pb the guid and ip was banned and these ppl would get kicked automatically from any server they connected to, has something changed here? I would like to understand this.

If these ppl continue playing then we might aswell all get multi hacks and play with them to keep it fair and square. :mad:

I think its not possible to bypass a GUID ban (like from Punkbuster)…except you buy a new code…but lol…who does that?
Im just not banned on the servers. Some admins think that i am not cheating, and thats kinda cool&smart. The only aimbot which
exists for ETQW 1.5 is detected, this means you are going to get banned just 5 seconds after you joined the server (just like “Sverige”).
(also a reason why i didnt bot :smiley: But thats another thing, dont wanna start the discussion again :D)

You can easily bypass any IP-Ban, but its not possible to bypass a GUID ban (because your ID always stays the same!) The admins can always unban players if they want to. But its NOT possible to get banned on the whole game (kinda like a Code-Ban).

Talked to rubben to inform also the French clans. But another problem is that there are acutally clans who support those cheaters by not banning them. Really sad.

Btw: Both made new accounts of course to continue to cheat.
activity/sverige is now “blackspot”
and cookie is “-Vein-”

Maybe the specialists (timestart, murka?) can help the admins here how we get rid of the cheater plague.

That is not cool and smart, it is retarded. And those servers that let you and your mate still play should be avoided by any decent qw player.

my intention rex was not to speak to this kid but to find out why they re still playing on named servers. i cant believe that admins are stupid enough to let these cheaters play. if the admins dont do anything about it then there are still other possibilities. i know from a european gameserver provider that they take these offenses like cheating serious and if someone who rents a server by them ignores this and they get complaints about one of their servers they take the server offline for a while and cancel the contract. im not sure who provides the above named servers but that is easily found out.

it cannot be that admins of servers ignore cheaters and let them play on their servers!

they should also be banned from this forum because due to their vids and all their bs-talk its more or less advertisement for using hacks. this should not be in the interest of any gaming forum.

I think there is something wrong with pb… as i remember, when OREL got banned, he still was able to join any server, with nick that he used when got banned…

Ok if this is the case then its not the server admins fault. However they should manually ban them from their servers and post here that they did, so we can be sure we can play cheater-free on their servers.

Villa clan doesn’t ban them. Just saw the cheaters playing there.

guys lets stay on topic here pls. we need to so something about these 2 cheaters. if anyone knows the admins from that french server and from the taw server, pls let them know that it would be wise to ban those 2 from their server immediately and permanently.

in the meantime i would suggest that if anyone sees them somewhere to kickvote and if it doesnt pass to leave the server they re on and play on a server that does not support cheaters until we re rid of them for good.

im not sure, but i think, they will get banned at villa. coldcoockieweapon may tricked singing fish, i hope he realise it and ban him.
