Yes, I can confirm they do get reports and allegedly ban accounts. Their follow up queries are a bit kludgy but, eh…
I tend to feel this way about most game support responses, they come across rather cookie cutter - but I don’t think anyone minds too much so long as it gets dealt with.
On Reporting Hackers ~ The Best Way to Report Hackers
The responses are all automated, which isn’t surprising or a bad thing. I’d rather they get on with processing the actual issue than take the time to write out a personal response about how they’re going to.
No, it wasnt so much. But i got kills. Vasili shot all in head, different locations and so on. I could go on blaablaa im experienced fps player and so on. But i wanted to see, if im right. I have seen awesome vasili players and i did play in cb. Or what was it before loadout and card system were introduced.
Less time spent saying you’re doing stuff and more time spent doing it. Im glad that’s how it is.
Well the responses aren’t actually automated, but the message they send is a form letter. Basically what was seen above, but a GM copies and pastes the letter into their response and changes a couple of fields in the letter.
So while you are getting a form letter response, it is not automated. Each ticket is reviewed by a GM and action is taken as needed. This speeds up the response time and provides more time to actually take action. This way more tickets can be processed in the same amount of time.

Damn, now that is a waste of time. Why not have it all automated after a button is pressed confirming someone has actually read it - what I assumed happened. All this copy pasting and changing elements by hand must waste a lot of time.
The only real problem I have with the report ticket process are two things.
snip
2. Need to give time in PST. Would it be so hard to allow the user to set a time zone in their profile and submit it with a local time that gets converted. Going to timeanddate.com is lame.
Having sent a quite a lot tickets myself I found this quite annoying indeed, it just feels absolutely unnecessary step when I can’t get rid of the feeling it wouldn’t be so long-term process to just add a time converter into the field itself there. Give option to give time in either UTC, PST or even maybe in a form of “14:30, UTC +2” or “20:00, UTC -1” for example. I even had the time converter on my favourites in browser solely for this, but I now simply put the time in UTC form oh a little rebel I am. When we already take our time to report, it should be as convienient as possible. It’s like Nexon has never heard of the far far away lands of the unknown and wonder behind the vast blue seas.
And I wouldn’t definitely mind automated messages, hell copy+pasting and then filling in certain areas sounds just horrifyingly dull o_o Poor GM’s. As long as I know something is done (spied one bloke convieniently cease playing DB a day or few after my report
) I don’t care what kind of response I get. More transparency on amount of bans though, lets say monthly or so, wouldn’t hurt but… Well.
This is what I got when I reported a hacker.
Thank you for contacting support.
Through your report and some additional information we were able to gather on this player we have been able to take direct action on their account. We appreciate you helping to keep the game neat and tidy.
Thanks!

Just want to stress again how much we appreciate the effort that goes into these reports. We are truly grateful and also sorry that it’s kind of a hassle. I know we keep saying “soon” on the player report feature but we are working away at it and should see it in one the next few updates.
As players, especially those reporting and being active on the forums etc. I know we all just want the game to thrive - if that means spending a bit on a report ahead of the system being added, I’ll take that over the alternative any day.
As for Soon™ and the alternative of “Our ETA is August 18th!” followed by “The new ETA is August 25th because reasons” - It’s easy to understand why keeping schedules in-house is the more appealing alternative given the nerd-rage of The Internet at large.
Thanks @Backuplight. And you said it spot on. We’d hate to confirm it for next week and then have something crazy happen and have to postpone
Dirty Bomb is one of the best free to play games out there,
but everyday more and more cheater are joining,
it got so bad that it takes away the fun
!!! Please upgrade the Anit-Cheat quickly !!!
Recently I have noticed a lot of players using trigger bot with no recoil/ no spread hacks. These are much more difficult to spot because they look the same as a very good player. I don’t understand why SD can’t implement a simple system of metrics to find cheaters. Things like time-on-target and head-shot counts. For example, if a sniper shoots 100 milliseconds after his cross hairs are on-target, then he is cheating. Maybe six head shots in a row, or a 30/1 kill ratio.
I recall a recent competitive match, and an individual named ******** who went 139/16 with Nader on Terminal, all headshots, all from across the map. He asked us why we would bother reporting him and his cohorts, because nobody has time to stop cheating where a game is free-to-play. I hope he was proven wrong, as we all reported him. Here is a screenshot of the score:

No name and shame policy, sorry, but you can’t use the forums to report hackers. @Ardez @Amerika
Right now i don’t report hackers because it is too much work and too many of them… Go Spec, screenshot steam account, and not existing VAC bans that they often already have, take multiple videos, combine and edit videos and compress video down from 2560x1440 because dirtybomb has no demo feature. Explain to support how to see the hack with clear evidence and documentation. Minimum an hour of work for a cheater that can make a new account in a couple minutes. The obvious cheats don’t concern me very much, but there is a huge number using aimbots/wallhacks which are not as noticeable unless you notice certain things like instant snapping to headshots, sometimes behind walls, instant headshot snapping combined with instant ADS. aimbot getting stuck on player or mistakenly on your teamates if they are also in the path of the fight. The fact the game has built in wallhacks as merc abilities makes it even more difficult.
I did not report anyone here, but used the Nexon site. The player is now VAC Banned.
Game doesn’t use VAC so that VAC ban would be unrelated. Guess they play CS too.
Yes, our report towards the player was on July 1, 2015 and the VAC Ban was 69 days ago, or on June 6, 2015. But we were happy to see him VAC banned. I did not receive an email similar to Incoming’s email, as posted above. Sorry about using the name, though, just wasn’t thinking about calling him out, just substantiating the statement about the score.
Edit: I went back to my post and deleted his name.
To be honest, I wouldn’t care about some feedback from some support. Yes, the obious chaeters here and there, ok, but in the other side, there are many, where you need real data and views to confirm, or not, the “cheater-ticket”. And those could go both ways, while Jon Doe won’t expect a “thank you master” as an answer, because he/she/it is sure.
So for the 1001st time, plx give us some easy-to-use report and a support beeing able to handle them tickets. No simply some silly macros awnsering our tickets.
